Great workout shorts. These shorts are pretty awesome as they met and exceeded expectations. The material is good and durable and will hold up to multiple wearing and washings. I wear these pretty hard for racquet sports, weight lifting, running, biking stationary and trail. I get approximately three years out of each pair before the crotch starts to give out. This is the first place they will start to fail without question. Nothing else on these shorts will be an issue. I wear an XL and I am 6' 1" and weigh about 220 lbs. athletic muscular build. I have never really gotten a compression short feeling from these. I wear a jock strap underneath to keep everything in place and from showing while wearing. The material and fit are comfortable. I wear a pair of these for working out each day no matter what kind of work out I am doing.

I love these shorts. I was hesitant about getting these shorts at first 'cause I've never worn shorts with tights underneath. However, I really loved the towel loop that comes with these shorts. Normally I just tuck my towel into my shorts when working out or running, but that loosens up my shorts too much. So for me this is a genius idea. Luckily shortly after seeing these shorts they went on sale and I bought them right away. I tried them on and they fit me great. The underneath tights were a little longer than what I normally like as they reach just above my knee cap, but they're comfortable. I'm 5'8" to give you an idea how how long they are. The one issue I do have is the pocket on the tights. The reason being is that it's tough putting my phone into it because the outer shorts get in the way. It's not a deal breaker since the outer shorts have pockets. I really appreciate that on the back pocket has a zipper. The back pocket itself is small but it's big enough to fit a debit card or drivers license. I also love the long draw string but the waist for now is tight enough so I won't have to tighten them. Overall I love these shorts as they are very comfortable, breathable, and I love the towel loop.

Typically I buy large, but for these I bought extra large because sometimes running shorts are too tight. And I didn’t want shorty shorts anyway. The outer shorts are comfortably loose, overall the perfect size for me. The inner liner is long and a bit too loose, reaching almost to my knees, so I typically roll up the liners for each leg. They always come undone again but that’s okay, I did buy an XL after all. My takeaway is, large probably would have been fine. The liner has a cellphone pocket which holds the phone well enough. There’s a zipper pocket in the back for keys. Overall these are lightweight and comfortable and I’ve put a lot of miles on them.

The coolest pair of shorts I have for running

I am a 34 waist and ordered the large. The fit is comfortable and the material is light. Unfortunately, the liner is useless. It provides no support or compression. As a thin material, it doesn't provide warmth. I am unclear what the point is. Is it a fashion statement? I bought these to be functional for support and compression for working out. I will not buy again.

This is my hubbys fave shorts to run/workout with.

As a very active 75 year old living in Arizona, I practically live in these shorts all year long. They're high quality, durable, well priced, and provide the upper thigh compression that I need to keep my hamstrings happy. One word of caution, they run a little large. I'm 5'11"/175# with 31" waist - so I normally order Medium pants. After ordering my first pair, I found them to be a little baggy with less compression than I was looking for. With that knowledge I ordered several more pair (when they were on sale on Amazon) in size Small and they fit perfectly. My hamstrings are happy now.
