I got these to support my mailbox that has been replaced. They come with all the screws and there are directions. They are well made metal frames and fit tightly around a wooden 4" post. I did have to shave a little off the bottom of the post to make it fit but they work out great. I am using them for the posts holding my mailbox.

Great base units for railing posts. I really appreciated how solid they were, and how well they fit with a standard 4 x 4 post. I suggest using a good bolt to mount them as the sleeve, and inevitably the post, are going to be stronger than the mounting screws, so make sure they are strong!

These were easy to install and seem to be more robust and stable than our last post base.

These post brackets work great! Do yourself a favor though and throw away the hardware that comes with it and buy some good anchors no matter how good the included hardware looks. Other than that, the brackets are nice.

These are just what you think they are. The steel is sturdy and thick enough to know it will last. I did not use the included bolts but they looked decent. I got some better quality concrete screws/bolts and borrowed a friends hammer drill and it was a very easy process to install. Now my mailbox is standing straight and proud again.

Gauge of metal is substantial.... Best means of attaching 4 x 4's.... Includes cementcfasteners and mounting screws..... LOVE the fact that fastening points are OUTSIDE the 4 x 4 WORTH EVERY PENNY
