How do I choose the right connection mode and avoid Bluetooth drops?

Use Bluetooth for phones/tablets, 2.4G with the USB dongle for stable workstation use, or USB wired for a direct backup. Do not mix modes; after switching modes, follow the manual to re-pair the scanner.

Why is it paired, but no data appears or the keyboard is missing?

Click into the input field where barcode data should appear. On phones or tablets, make sure the virtual keyboard/input method is enabled. The app must accept external keyboard or barcode input.

How do I set Enter, Tab, mute, vibration, or restore defaults?

Use the manual's programming barcodes to add Enter/Tab, cancel a suffix, mute the buzzer, adjust vibration, or restore factory settings. If data has missing or extra characters, restore defaults first.

Can it scan PDF417, QR, Data Matrix, and edited symbologies?

HW0002 supports 1D and 2D codes, including QR, Data Matrix, Code 39, Interleaved 2 of 5, Codabar, and PDF417. PDF417 results depend on barcode quality, state/license format, and receiving software.

How should I use the stand for hands-free scanning?

Place the stand on a stable surface, set a fixed scan angle, and adjust barcode distance and angle for best results. For high-speed checkout or heavy continuous scanning, test the real workflow before rollout.
