Works like it should
I needed a flag pole that would keep my flags from getting wrapped around . This flag pole let the flag spin . Good color and seems sturdy.

It is of just okay quality with chrome finish on plastic but tangle free spinning it is not. My flag tangles up quite often. For the price and general appearance, it's good enough for now.

"tangle free" part fails
The pole itself seems to be made ok. But the "tangle free" part fails. Every day I have to fix my flag because it's all wrapped around the pole.

Patriotic addition
Good strong construction for heavy windy weather

Unfortunately Our Flag Spends most of its time Tangled!
My main concern is that the tangleproof description definitely doesnโt meet my expectations. Seventy percent of the time it is tangled and what is more the flag has gotten damaged by the thumb screw that tightens the swiveling mechanism in place on the pole. The swiveling mechanisms are made with nylon material that lasts for ~four months of use before the sharp metal edges of the clasps wear through the nylon. Granted, I live close to the Atlantic ocean, so we do have pretty consistent breezes. I ended up replacing the include clasping mechanisms with something more substantial that worked a lot better: https://amzn.to/3NC7N8B My final complaint is that the pole itself said it was stainless steel, but seemed very light weight and did begin rusting, so the quality of the stainless was pretty low. This ended up putting rust stains on my flag. And the pole did flex a lot in the wind, after 6 months it actually snapped. See pictures below. Final thoughts: this would be nice for an indoor flag pole, but not all that great for an outdoor flag pole.
