I built a video/ photo studio and these helped a lot. I put two on each of the 4 walls. With tripod stands, there would be no room left to move around. They are telescoping, so they can reach almost any position I need. They're sturdy enough to hold lights in position. After over a year of daily use, they're still going strong.

I was interested in some sort of ‘boom’ that I could install in my workspace that could be extended/retracted, and would easily support some light-weight products (i.e. portable LED Projector). This item was absolutely perfect, and even beyond what I expected receiving. I will admit that I am a bit concerned regarding one of the clamps, yet if it breaks, I will replace with better myself. The product includes numerous mounting/adapter options.

This holds a decent amount of weight, and can pivot back and forth as needed. The included drywall anchors were not great, so we grabbed some easier to use anchors.

My wife is a school teacher and converted an old book closet in her classroom into a mini TV studio for her students to do the morning school announcements. There is very little space so I purchased two of these boom arms for LED panel lights so they could easily be swung out of the way when not being used (see photos). These boom arms are solid and perfect for this application. I did (like many others) purchase my own wall anchors so the bolts would not stick out of the wall if this space was ever repurposed at her school. I am giving this 4 stars because I had to return one of boom arms because the section attached to the hydraulic lift would not lock out rendering the entire arm useless. The replacement they sent was also defective in the same way and also had to be returned. I finally got a good working boom arm after 2 attempts. This was a hassle that I should not have had to deal with hence the 4 stars. Both replacements were sent and received within a week, so delivery and returns were impeccable. Incidentally, the center hung LED panel light (in the photos) is mounted on an On-Stage MY900 Ceiling Bar (for drop ceilings) that can also be purchased via Amazon.

Got this because I got so tired of the ring light stand tipping over and it was the best decision and purchase made ever! I’m making this review 1 year after and it’s still great. No more issues with ring light tipping over and no more space consuming stand! Would definitely recommend this.

The clamp that holds it from going up and down does not work what so ever I literally tightened it a much as I could putting a bunch of extra pressure more than needed and it still drops downward with any little bit of weight
