Panasonic RF-D30BTEB-K Smart function radio with USB smartphone charging, Bluetooth connectivity & DAB+, Black

Quick delivery l ordered Friday 3rd July for a Monday delivery but turned up Sunday really good. Lovely looking solid radio easy to set up 106 dab channels loaded automatically, l pre set my three favourite channels and plugged in my 2.1 computer speakers into the 3.5 headphone socket and superb sound quality so it’s definitely stereo output from the headphone jack but also still sounds great on mono speaker built in, all set up in the summer house and looking forward to listening as many hours outside as l can, l have now moved my Robert’s dab into the kitchen as this panasonic is far better sounding. I would thoroughly recommend this Panasonic as it’s the best I’ve heard yet and l now have three dab radios, if you order one happy listening

Panasonic have just got everything right about this radio. The reception is excellent, the controls are well thought and easy to use (e.g. 10 presets!), the sound quality is very good and functionality is boosted by the ability to bluetooth stream. I bought this product after rejecting a Roberts RD70. The Roberts was also an excellent radio, as expected given it is 2x price of the Panasonic RF-D30. The sound of the Roberts was their signature - 'warm', 'rich' sound. Which in practise for me meant music sounded great but speech lacked clarity. In comparison the Panasonic is crystal clear on voice-based stations and whilst not hi-fi level for music is still prefectly good quality with a decent frequency spectrum and a bass that is present but not strong. The use of 4 C-batteries in the RF-D30 also means portability with decent battery life (20+ hours). In summary, not the most chic, not an audiophile dream but an absolutely great radio that 'does what it says on the tin' - deliver excellent quality sound from a wide range of radio stations.

Habe mir das DAB Radio aus dem Retoureverkauf von Amazon gekauft.Der Zustand wurde als sehr gut bezeichnet,dem kann ich nicht wiedersprechen.Orginal verpackt keine Kratzer nichts hat gefehlt Super!Man sollte öfter dort Geräte kaufen und kann Geld sparen.Nun zum Radio,habe es heute gleich getestet.Es macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck die Tasten lassen sich gut bedienen ,der Sound ist gut (mit EQ).Die Drahtlosverbindung funktioniert ohne Probleme zB.MP3 Player (laut Hersteller nicht bei allen Geräten bei mir ist es das iPot 4 das ist schon etwas älter)Ich muß noch testen wie lange die 4 CR14 Lithium Batterien durchhalten,gelesen habe ich bis zu 40 Stunden was ich mir nicht vorstellen kann mal schauen!Mir gefällt das Radio mit seinem ausgezeichnet Empfang sehr gut,klare Kaufempfehlung! *Keine deutsche Bedienungsanleitung-kann man sich bei Amazon bei der Produktbeschreibung als PDF runterladen.

This radio is a dab/fm mains/x4C type battery operated. It is reassuringly solid and substantial in weight and you cannot accidentally knock it over and it IS splashproof (as i have had this radio in use in my busy kitchen a few months before I did this review) very happy with it and it works with a selection of equaliser options and screen illumination settings and a great selection of pre set stations (FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS and you will be very happy with it) It is very sturdy and will certainly take any amount of knocks. A nice modern looking radio.
