My Mr. Coffee went kaputt a few weeks ago. It just kept powering off, wouldn’t stay on any longer. I originally bought a different coffee pot but it was too cheaply made and not worth saving a few bucks for. I like my traditional grounds coffee and how I make it at home is my favorite way. I drink a cup every morning so having a coffee pot that will hold up matters. I returned it and ordered this Black & Decker. So far I’m very happy with it. It’s sturdy. It seems well-made. There are no leaks and it brews my espresso grounds rather quickly. It’s digital, and you can program it. I can set it for the morning, and it’s ready when I wake up. Makes great tasting coffee. So far, I’ve had it almost a month, and I’m extremely happy with it. Brews up to12 cups and cleans easily, although it doesn’t have a clean option. Keeps coffee nice and hot for about 2 hours, and then automatically shuts off. I have to say, I recommend this coffee pot..

This is a great product and absolutely worth buying. I’m genuinely impressed with the quality, performance, and value. I’d recommend it to friends and family, and I’d definitely be interested in trying more items from this brand.

I have used another brand for more than two decades but the style and options have changed too much. So I gave this B+D a try. It works great! Simple to use, clean and operate. Brews coffee perfectly. Seems dependable and shuts off when it's supposed to do so. For the price range, you cannot go wrong.

We had the earlier model for > three years and used it daily. When it quit working we got this newer version. They have fixed all the little annoying things about the previous model. There’s no requirement to clean every so many cycles. That always unexpectedly interrupted morning coffee-making. Instead we just clean once a month. The carafe pours better. The buttons are easier to read. The shape makes it easier to pour in water. The timer is easy to set. My only issue is that the “sneak a cup” feature doesn’t really work well because of the way the caraffe fits. If I could give it 4 1/2 stars I would.

I bought this coffee maker back in 2022, as of yesterday June 30 2026 it worked great, programmable, auto shut off after 2 hours, quiet, no issues. Today I went to pour a cup and the handle broke off at the top, will attach pictures. For the price, I think having it for 4 years with no issues was a good buy. I don’t feel like trying to find a replacement carafe so I’m buying another coffee maker. $30 for 4 years of no issues is fine to me, I just wish the plastic hadn’t have broken on the lip of the carafe or I would have still been using the same machine since there’s nothing wrong with it.

Not Fancy, Not Complicated, Not Expensive. What else do you need in the morning. Replaced the same model with a new one as my old one broke after more than 15 years of faithful service. Takes 11 minutes to brew 8 cups of coffee, which BTW is really only 3.5 cups of coffee in a real mug. Yes, you can set it to start automatically in the morning. Thank goodness for Amazon same day delivery or there would have been chaos the next morning.

it works, is reliable, and makes good coffee. a great deal for a coffee maker.

Only downside is that it doesn't keep the coffee pot warm for more than two hours. I'm typically still drinking coffee after two hours, so I either need to turn it back on or drink cold coffee. Would be ideal if you could set the warming time or at least some kind of option (2 or 4 hrs). Also, I didn't realize until after I purchased that it doesn't come with a reusable filter. My last coffee maker included one, so it didn't even dawn on me to check. So something to keep in mind...either use throw-away coffee filters or you'll need to buy a reusable. Otherwise, it's your typical coffee maker!

sorry very dissappointing experience, when it was switched on we were able to see the displayes , but the hot plat was not worhing.

Does a fabulous job making coffee, Day in day out. Looks great. It’s also easy to clean. Great product.
