There are lots of coasters out there and some are better than others. This happens to be a nice set that would work well for both hot and cold beverages. The cork is tight and relatively smooth which is less likely to get infused with spilt drinks and makes cleaning easier. The wood's grain is sufficiently visible to add to the aesthetic. I happen to like the use of the cork "ring" on the bottom that keeps the coaster in place. Though these nicely stack together, I admit I would have like to have seen some holder/carrier for this set perhaps out of wire - otherwise a perfect* score from me.

I’m still happy with my purchase. I’m glad I bought these because they look great with my table. because they have a little of variation in the color, they match with darker, medium and lighter wood colors. Good quality

I never thought I’d be this excited about coasters, but these are exactly what I wanted. The cork on the top and bottom keep the coaster and drink in place. They look high quality, and I like that they LOOK like coasters, so that when I leave them on the guest room nightstands, the guests know to use them. I also like that they don’t have a holder and just stack securely themselves. Not the least expensive coasters on Amazon, but worth the money.

Plain wooden, ceramic/stone, and plastic coasters are useless. They allow condensation to drip off onto the furniture or accumulate water like a dish. There are the best. The bottoms have grippy cork rings and the top has a cork middle part that absorbs moisture. They stack nicely, so you don't need a cage or holder. Plus, these just look nice- almost like furniture. A step up from plain cork or paper coasters. Love these.

Lightweight and look amazing on the coffee table. Stack neatly on top of each other so no need to get a holder. The cork side makes it never stick to your glass and also easy to wipe clean. Thinking of getting another set...

Very beautiful design, it fits perfectly to our wooden table and most important is, it prevents scratches from the glasses.

I have had these for about 3 months. They still look brand new and we use them daily. The lighter wood looks great against our dark wood end tables. They are non-slip so won't slide around or scratch your end tables. The "lip" around the edge means your cup won't slide off. Accommodates my largest mug. Highly recommend.

Just as described, but even better! These are truly the best coasters I've ever purchased. Any glassware or mugs will fit. Love them.
