The jar of pressed night serum i received is a solid like crisco, very firm. is this the right consistency?

I buy the hydro-boost water gel, not the night serum. Since I do not buy the night serum, I cannot answer the question.

What exactly does “pressed” serum mean?

I have no idea what that means. The last one I ordered was on May 26,2021 and it does not have that on the front of the jar. Also I noticed that many reviewers said it had a bad perfumery odor. The one I received has a pleasant light scent-very pleasant. I am wondering if they are two different items or they have changed it since my last purchase.

Is the nighttime one water based

The first ingredient is water. It's oil-free and alcohol-free. It has never felt greasy on my face, that's one of the things I love about it. Even at my age, my skin leans towards combination t-zone oily skin. If you've tried and liked the white-capped Hydro-Boost, you will like this one.

Can you use this with the neutrogena rapid firming collagen triple lift serum? or should the lift serum be used during day and this cream at night?
