Today is the 35th anniversary of Metallica’s phenomenal Black album. Although I enjoy the previous releases more, imo this was the last Metallica album I grew up with. Quite a few bangers on this lp, my personal favorites are Sad But True, Unforgiven, Wherever I May Roam, Through the Never, Nothing Else, Of Wolf and Man, God That Failed. Actually the whole album rocks, these are just my favorites. I even have the album live, performed in Austria, from their live cds. I have the regular release as well, actually purchased the album on release day, but I no longer have it. I grew out of Metallica in the late 90’s, didn’t come back until hearing Death Magnetic, decided to purchase the cds again. Been buying the remasters, they sound really great. More clearer, and very loud, you can hear the raw power of the music. There is a deluxe box set, but I didn’t have the money, just bought the remastered cd and 3 disc expanded edition. I have the deluxe box sets for RTL and AJFA, sadly I missed out on Master 😭 I don’t think I need the black album deluxe set. The black album has sold over 30 million copies worldwide, 20 alone in the US! If you’re a fan of Metallica, this is a must own! Even if you have the cd, get the remaster, I recommend the 3 disc expanded edition, that includes demos and live tracks, plus extravagant packaging. If you just want the cd itself get it, you won’t be sorry with the sound quality.

Great album Jason finally established himself in the band at this point with this album he solidified his spot in history with Metallica absolutely worth having and worth buying I would highly recommend it to anybody that loves Metallica

The disc isn't even in a case, but more of a sleeve. The Cd also came with a lyric sheet for every song in the album, thought that was neat. There was also a little sleeve for the disc as well, but I lost it.

Does not come in a cd case, only a cardboard sleeve. Disappointing based on the cost of the item.

Yea, stop using digital anything. Own your stuff and be happy before it's no longer available

このアルバム発売当時は邦楽POPSにハマっていて聴く機会がなかったのですけれど最近になって評価が高いアルバムだということを知り聴き始めました。個人的に好きな※を始め良い曲が盛り沢山なのでみんなにもオススメできるアルバムだ。
