Game changer!
Game changer. We’ve had huge problems with house flies in the last couple of years. Tried spray, fly papers, all of which are only partly effective and the spray is of little use if you have pets due to its toxicity. This gun makes me will flies to come into the house! So much fun. Makes you feel like an army commando (I bought the laser sight accessory)! Very effective and fun to use piece of kit, can even take them out whilst in flight. Highly recommend.

An honest review
An honest review from someone who was sceptical and that has experience shooting. I decided to grudgingly buy the Bug A Salt as felt to price was a lil steep. I got two young dogs in a pen connected to the back door so they can safely free roam as much as at home. As it's been so warm I've had issues with flies, the larger house fly kind. I've tried various natural methods with little success, fly paper which seems to fall apart n tear as much as it works to some degree so I too the leap. I've used fine table salt and when gired it has a decent amount of force out of the barrel but would say on larger flies used two to ideally one foot away but is a lot stronger with a lil courser salt mixed in. The resevoir is decent enough and seems to avarage at least 40ish shots with the fine table salt and is easy enough to fill. Cocking/charging is easy enough, not too hard but definately not too easy. Due to it's length definately more accurate two handed avoiding judder if not used to aiming. A few notes, It is a loud pap when fired, the trigger pull is somewhat tight/heavy so would be better if adjustable or lighter. The loading/cocking foregrip could do with more of a curve or drop handle for ease of use. The Handle is somewhat of an odd shape and large and if making multiple shots gets uncomfortable at the top due to shape and hard plastic. For context my hands are classed as extra large. The iron (plastic) orange sights are ok but a little harder to track in lower light/darker areas. It has various molded bug patterns accross the sides but personally I would prefer they were plain to reduce to price or to improve items listed avove like trigger pull. Long story short I paid £49.99 and overall I'd say it is definately worth the investment, I also invested for my daughter to build her confidence getting rid of spiders ( larger harvest type) ) so all in I highly recommend

Superb!
Was a bit dubious about buying this but it actually works really, really well. The only negative is that the trigger is quite stiff. But there's no doubt it does the job

Expensive, but fun and effective
Knocked a star off simply because it’s very expensive for what it is. But it’s great fun and more effective in my hands than the electric tennis racquet style zappers. The only downside is that it does leave salt everywhere - not massive amounts but enough that it’s noticeable. Others have complained about its effectiveness but I suspect that is due to them not making a direct hit and just hitting the fly with the outer part of the salt burst. If you hit the fly full on, it obliterates it. In short it’s an expensive, but fun and effective fly killer.

Fun, but maybe a bit mean
Works a treat, but perhaps not overly kind way to kill flies

Fantastic
Game changer, don’t by the knock of version ls this is a brilliant bit of kit. Much better than zappers, fly paper or blue light and cheap to reload. Works every time spot on. My mate bought a alternative version and that was cheap plastic this is really solid highly recommend

Every home needs this for it's first line defense against the fly nemesis
This is my first Bug a Salt. I bought it in May 2020 because I'm an adult with adult money and thought this was silly gimicky salt shooter that might kill a few flies. Also my wife hates flies and I could score some husband points by getting a gift that is potentially practical. And boy was it! This thing is so much fun and has killed hundreds of enemy flies in my home and garage! My wife loves it, our guests love it, and my nephew loves it so I get cool uncle points! Sadly, after 3 years of stacking fly carcases and salting bugs into oblivion, a tiny piece on the trigger mechanism broke and it no long pumps correctly :( . But I mourned for only so long before I bought a replacement shooter to continue the good fight! And upon reaching out to the support team that responded very quickly, I learned they have a 1 year warranty on the fly killing weapon of awesomeness, and 2 year warranty if you decide you want extra protection! My warranty is 2 years past as it's now May 2023, but how cool is that!? This bad mamojama lasted 3 years killing everything from flies, mosquitos, spiders (although they are heavy hitters) and a bunch of other flying things I'm not interested in learning the names of! My 2nd shooter I'm sure will last just as long and I look forward to the continued war between my clean kitchen and the fly menace! Also, I tried the "other guy's" brand to try and save a couple bucks and was SORELY disappointed. I returned it because if felt like junk, had some weird safety "features" and I didn't need 2 barrels to try and one up anyone. Spend money on the good stuff, dont buy crap.

Leider Geil
