Razer DeathAdder Essential (2021) - Wired Gaming Mouse (Optical Sensor, 6400 DPI, 5 Programmable Buttons, Ergonomic Form Factor) White

I bought the Razer DeathAdder Essential as a Christmas gift for my niece, Amy, who's just getting into gaming, and she absolutely loved it. It was easy for her to set up, feels comfortable to use, and the design looks really smart. Amy said it's much more responsive than her old mouse and has made gaming much more enjoyable. It seems well made and offers great quality for the price. A fantastic choice for anyone starting out in the gaming scene.

The Razer DeathAdder Essential 2021 Mercury White is a solid, no-frills gaming mouse that delivers great value. Its build quality feels sturdy, and the classic DeathAdder shape provides a comfortable, secure grip for long sessions. The buttons are responsive and satisfying to click, though the scroll wheel is just average. Since it’s wired, there’s no battery life to worry about and connectivity is always stable. The lighting is minimal with a simple white glow, so brightness isn’t a standout feature. Overall, it’s a reliable, comfortable mouse that nails the basics without unnecessary extras.

Had this mouse for a while now and have been playing all sorts on different consoles and pcs and at first I hated it the way it felt the way in how heavy it was but all of that just takes time the ergonomic shape makes it so my pinky and ring finger aren't levetated all hours while playing and with the smooth feel of the mouse provides a comfortable experience but this mouse does have down sides if your thinking about playing this on a xbox you at no avail can change the dpi I would go to play fortnite with the Mrs and have to put the sensitivity all the way up to 25 percent as out the box it's set to 450 dpi with no way of changing it on console and even if you do, do it on pc it still won't transfer same with macros it will read the mouse button as unusable so things to be careful about but after using this couldn't go back to my light mouse

Bought for my gamer son as his roller had broken in the old one. He's happy with this and hasn't moaned about it so that's a winner for me!!

Good mouse for the price, Solid build quality, Mouse buttons feel sturdy and secure. This is a right-handed mouse however buttons can be swapped in software, the ergonomics are in such a way that it is shaped as such, simple plug and play, albeit on windows based computers it will ask that you install Razer software for configuring the button functions (the software can be on the bloatware side, I've never had any issues with not installing it). The DeathAdder Essential is NOT an RGB mouse, it does come with a backlit Razer logo on the body and the scroll wheel is also illuminated. The white model has white LEDs and the Black version has green LEDs.

This mouse is decent value for money and served me well for around a year of gaming, however, around a year in to using the mouse, the wheel just started to not work or not work properly, scrolling randomly and in the wrong direction, it's probably because it's prone to allowing dust in the scroll wheel, I'd cleared it a few times with a hard blow, but eventually it was no longer a valid way to temporarily resolve the issue, so I had to replace it with a different one

I’m pretty particular with mouses so I can say without a doubt that this mouse is top tier and good quality. It fits perfectly in your hands whether they’re big or small. Best mouse I now own

Great mouse. Been using it for 2 years now and I've no complains with the hardware but the Razer software is not great. (I also own a Razer headphone and that 7.1 software has memory leak that was never fixed. Everytime I started my computer, I had to manually close the software and relaunch it to use it. Otherwise, the cpu utilisation would reach 40% for this software alone causing lag and crashes.) It consumes resources in the background and installs bloatware by default. It does offer some extra functionalities but even that can be glitchy. Has no support for linux but thankfully you can use software like openrazer to get all the important functionality of the mouse. White version - comes with white LEDs, which looks really good. Black version - comes with green LEDs. I don't like it. White looksa lot better. It is a big mouse. Fits my hands perfectly but may not fit yours. My hand size = 18cm (from tip of the middle finger to the base of the palm) The plastic does gets shiny at all touch points. Personally, I don't really care about it. All the buttons are working well. No miss clicks or skipping scrolls. Note - It is a heavy mouse.
