Kalawen Latest Weather Station for Home with One Wireless Outdoor Sensor

Purchased as a replacement for one that was hard to read in daylight, this item is the opposite with it's bright and colourful display. Have not checked it's accuracy but it is close enough for my needs. Setup is reasonably straightforward but does need some thought. Reasonably priced and well worth considering.

This weather station is not perfect but almost there. The most annoying bit was the manual. The manual seems to explain to an employee of their own. It’s a good product but the technical writing needs improvement. The screen is bold and bright. You can switch the light off but there is no way to control the brightness. Also, no mention on how the daylight saving would work.

This was a surprise gift from my wife. She knows what an avid weather follower I am and she thought I would appreciate this nifty gadget. She wasn't wrong! It's a very accurate at predicting the weather and has the added bonus of having an outdoor weather sensor included with it. The display is crystal clear and the set up is relatively straightforward. I love it!

Nice big display.......well lit.....although I was going to return it.....the display seemed blurred close-up....... The I realised the protective film was still stuck to the screen......no tag to remove it..... The film has numbers printed on it in white.......making the display confusing......once removed all ok. Slight minus : no max or min temperatures given....... but so far works well.

I bought this a few weeks ago in the hopes that it would stop my husband asking me what temperature it is, or what the weather is like, on top of that we have to keep an eye on the room temp for our little one but at the same time we get the time, date and an alarm all in one. I love it and it’s pretty accurate as long as you keep the sensor in an appropriate place, I keep It by the window and not in direct sunlight as that can be deceiving.

The display is very bright and clear and attractive (I have had various units over the years). I like the white surround. Best plugged into the mains, so on all the time (you don't need batteries in the main unit in this case). Would have given a score of 5 if there was not one problem. The pressure is displayed, but cannot be set to read correctly - when mine reads 1000 mb the actual pressure is 1013 mb. Most weather stations allow you to adjust the pressure reading to be locally correct, but this one does not, as confirmed to me by the manufacturer Kalawen.
