Men's Barracuda Swim Trunks

I had a pair of these a decade ago and loved them. I surf and fish all the time and these shorts are the best for these sports. I searched around town and found nothing I liked. Even searching Amazon for these took some time. Initially I ordered two pair and verified the fit and quality and then purchased two more. Here's what I like: 1. The price is amazing compared to shopping locally at the surf shops. 2. The fit is perfect. I have a 33-34 inch waste and the Large are just right. The waist will stretch to accommodate larger but then they would be tight in the legs. They are very comfortable to wear all day. 3. These shorts are very suitable for fishing and surfing. The cargo pockets are great for holding gear and wax. 4. They have a mesh lining that does not bind or creep. 5. Many colors and styles choose from. CONS: 1. The material is slightly thinner than the pair I had from a decade ago but not by much and is definitely not a show stopper. 2. Their size chart is a bit confusing. Large will fit a 33-34 waste well but if you are above or below that then choose accordingly.

These are decent trunks overall. I like the pockets. Seems to be sewn well. The drawback is that they are not true to size. Order at least one size bigger than you normally wear.

Couldn't be happier with these. I normally wear a medium (32-33) and these fit perfectly. I like that the length goes down to my knees. Quality is great. And it's really comfortable to wear--at home and outdoors. I will buy some more. Update (July 26, 2020): I was so satisfied with these Green pair, that I bought the Navy and Aqua as well. I should point out that I wear these around the house, to do grocery shopping, to run errands, etc. (So I can't comment on using them for water sports, etc.). I wash them in the washer, then let them dry outside (or inside) with the inner mesh liner out. They dry really fast. The only thing I don't like about them are the two vertical stripes. Without them, they would look like regular cargo shorts (which is how I use them) instead of athletic shorts. But this is a minor deal compared to all of the positives about these shorts. Note: I've noticed that more styles are being added under this one item. And I wanted to mention that depending on the style, the size and the feel of the fabric are different. For example, I also bought the Black Camo shorts. As far as fit (waist) and length (just to or slightly below the knee), they were exactly the same as the solids (green, aqua, and navy.) However, the Camo ones have a white lining which is sticky. That is, when my legs get hot, the white inner fabric sticks to the back of my thighs, and I have to peel it off. I noticed this when sitting indoors or when I get out of my car after driving. This was too uncomfortable for me, so I returned them. (However, this sticky effect is apparently a result of them being quick-drying. So if you are getting these for wearing to the pool or beach, they might be good for that.) I also bought the Floral ones (green/black), In addition to having the same sticky material as the Camo ones (which was a deal breaker), the floral ones were an inch shorter in length (which meant they rise up to to mid-thigh when I sit down (another deal breaker) than the Camos or Solids (green, navy, aqua.) So overall, for my purpose of just wearing these causally (around the house and running errands) the solids (with the two vertical stripes) have been the best for me. They are a perfect fit (waist and length) and don't stick to the back of my thighs (no sticky white material). And they are easy to take care of, since they dry really fast.

These are great i was worried about ordering a 3x but it fits absolutely perfectly. Im 6'1,286 lb .I wear a size 46 pants . You dont need to order a huge size with this brand.nice lightweight breathable fabric

I purchased 4 pair of these Kanu Surf swim shorts for my partner, and he loves all of them. I would say they run true to size or slightly larger . (5’11 , 230lbs - XL.) I think I paid 5 dollars for one pair because that particular print was on sale. However, I would maintain that these are worth much more because they are high quality with well sewn seams and substantial weight to the fabric. The mesh lining has so far held up through many washings ( by hand only) although it is sort of fragile and flimsy . Also note: The inside of the side pockets at the waist are also made out of this same mesh so I don't think you could carry around heavy stuff ( keys, wallet etc. without it eventually breaking down or getting a hole in it). However, the insides of the cargo pockets on the thighs are the thicker fabric with velcro closures. Overall, I would definitely recommend these mens swim shorts.

These are great! The pockets fit my 6.2 phone, with the water case on it, which makes it even bigger. I did order a 4xl, but that was way too big. I returned it, to get a 3xl, my other usual size. These 3xl shorts will do for around the house, but they are still on the big side. So going to order a couple more of 2xl & then 1xl, if the 2xl seems still too big too.....only time will tell - will give you an update when completed.....but for now - I totally recommend these swim shorts, just go a size or 2 down from your normal sizing - Cheers!

I normally wear a size medium, so I ordered two different colours in medium, but they were too big ,so I reordered in size small, and they fit perfectly. I would definitely purchase from this seller again.
