I think it would be too small and possibly too soft as it was designed for use on your neck.

I do not know the answer to this question.There are 2 types of inducers. One is softer and has some give. We like the more ridge inducer. When I ordered I looked at the reviews, they had said it was too soft. I called customer service and they said the one I ordered was ridged. The review did not match with the product.

It stops csf flow while it's in use and then when you release it flows again, correct? does it feel good during or after you release?

I have used this Still Point inducer for several years. I don't experience headacahes very often but it helps relieve my neck pain from the knots that feel like little rocks in the back of my neck. I have been a groomer for 50 years and the stress build up causes this so am glad I found relief from Still Point device.

How high is it? The specs say 7 3/8", which seems unlikely.

Dear McMurphy, I'm at the library - being computer-free at home - so I can't get mine out and measure it, but it is certainly not 7" HIGH. (It would be somewhere around 4" high, I'm guessing.) 7 3/8" is probably the LENGTH, that sounds right to me. What I don't understand is how the lady in the photo is laying her head on it without it tipping over -- that's what mine did. Maybe it's glued to the floor. That would definitely solve the problem. If I wanted to spend money on such a gizmo in the future, I would try out one of the other types on the market. I have heard Cardio-Cradle recommended as a good one, for instance.
