Graham & Brown Superfresco Easy Paintable Pre-Pasted Beadboard Wallpaper

I bought this wallpaper twice. Once to do our kitchen backsplash and a second time to do our entry way. It. Is. Amazing. Okay so let’s get the cons out of the way. It is easy to rip. Because of that one of my rolls came sort of damaged from shipping. It was easily fixable by just cutting that damage part off. You cannot fix your cut when it is wet on the wall and have to let it dry before you try and zacto knife it to precision. Okay now PROS!!!!! It looks like real bead board! It is thick like bead board but not too thick that it is hard to put up on the wall. One roll got me a looooong way. And I didn’t even use half the second roll. It adheres SO WELL. That stuff is not going anywhere. It is the perfect white color that just oozes …class!? Coziness?! I can’t pin point it. But I love the vibe. Ignore the printer in my photo and just go ahead and order it!!!!

I had extreme reservations about this wallpaper. I needed an accent wall in my kitchen and with all of the other tasks I have going on , I really didn’t want to have to go get the actual beadboard and deal with cutting it and attaching to the wall- I found this and after a lot of unsurity, I got a roll. I have never applied wallpaper. It was so.easy. It was very forgiving with being able to move and slide it after putting it up to shift it into place. I used drywall spackling to fill up the seams and it worked well. A few tips I learned- this does NOT cut nicely with a knife when wet. Don’t think you’re going to put it up and cut around outlets as you go. It will tear so easily. Let it dry , then cut- or cut holes before . I filled my sink with water. Dipped and Laid flat on the counter for a few minutes while spritzing lightly with a water spray bottle. Put it up, smoothed it out with a plastic putty knife . If you are NOT going to paint it- make sure you wipe your putty knife often because the wallpaper glue does not dry clear . I painted mine so that wasn’t an issue for me. It’s also not very forgiving with any imperfections on the wall. It’s very thick so I mistakenly didn’t think I need to patch rough spots. Take the time and sand or spackle because they will show thru. Otherwise it looks great so far. Will update with pics when I’m totally done. Would absolutely buy again

I don’t know how I feel about this yet and only giving the score I’m giving based off of the final result. If you aren’t good or have never done wallpaper like myself, then be patient! The first panel I did, I couldn’t get the bubbles out. I tried for a half hour and it was wrinkled, dented and just looked horrible!! Thank goodness I didn’t write my review then because I was very upset, especially since it’s not that cheap! But once it dries, all of the imperfections disappear! The only complaint I have is it rips easily so be careful! But i still used it and put the rip section together and you can barely tell once it dried. Other suggestion I have is to not soak it, that’s how it kept ripping for me! So for the others, I laid it flat and soaked it with a wallpaper brush and then only let it set for 3 minutes, not 5, before I hung it, because it was drying quicker. I used it on my closet doors and just need to cut off the edges once it dries for 24 hours! But it looks amazing so far! First 2 pics are from when I first put it up and fought with the bubbles and dents, the last 2 are once it dried for a few hours but wasn’t dried enough to slice the overhang. One roll gave me exactly enough for all 4 (2ftx6ft) doors! Good luck, but do recommend it over the wood panels, which I did do on my bathroom door and wish I knew/remembered about this before I did it! Last pic is my bathroom door (that is the wood panels) that I’m still painting and touching up) Just so you can compare!

All of the complaints above wrinkles and divots are accurate, BUT, once the product dries on the wall they completly disappear. How? No clue, but it works, and the finish is beautiful. In the photo I attached you can see a freshly applied sheet on the left, and one that has had about 24 hrs to dry on the right. The difference is prety stark.I did not have trouble with tearing but I also handled the sheets pretty gently. I did have trouble with bubbles, but I was able to gently push them out using a sanding trowel (the kind with a foam bottom). This product isn't cheap but it looks great when properly applied

It adhered to the wall well and was not hard to use. However, the point in buying it is (1) it is supposed to look like headboard and (2) it is supposed to be paintable. I bought 3 rolls and am returning the two unopened, as once you wet it enough and apply it, the groves don't really show. It flattens out in making sure that it sticks to the wall. it looks like flat stripes rather than the raised grooves. The other part is that I bought it as it said paintable and I wanted the wall a certain color with a beadboard look. However, it's kind of a plasticy material that kind of beads up on it rather than applying evenly as if you are painting a normal wall.

SO, yes, it looks pretty good in the end. Especially considering what you pay for it. Lots of people have said the seems will disappear when it is painted, so I guess we will find out later. However, here are some tips for if you want to buy this stuff and install it yourself.1. Read the directions thoroughly before starting, front to back (well there is only a front, and no back)2. Don't follow the directions, throw them out.3. Yes, trim your nails and wash your hands, might not hurt to get a haircut, or pull it back, wouldn't want a hair touching this stuff or it will destroy the paper. Probably a good idea to dress in either bubble wrap or a hazmat suit if you have one handy.4. measure twice and cut once, a little longer than you need, then throw that piece out because it ripped, then measure a second piece once and then repeat the process.5. Make sure you wet this stuff down to activate the adhesive, wait for the water to penetrate 5 minutes for proper stick6. Whatever you do, DO NOT get this stuff wet.7. Before lifting it to put in place on your surface, add a wet single-ply tissue as a supportive backer so the paper doesn't tear.8. Gently rip, I mean, slide the paper into place. It will only stick where you want it to move, and move where you want it to stick, don't get roped in to the paper's psychological mind games, be the bigger person.9. Gently smooth out the bubbles. It is very satisfying when the glue ooze comes pouring out from behind the paper. Be sure to get glue all over everything in the room, including yourself (remember I said to pull your hair back), don't worry, this wont be hard to do.9. Let it dry for a little bit before trimming the excess. Still, DO NOT touch it. But use a sharp straight edge to hold it down while you attempt to cut it. If the straight edge reflects light onto the paper, it will tear, so dim the overheads.10. Only use a brand new razor blade when cutting the excess. Or use your shoe, you will get the same cut either way. Don't worry, you wont be able to predict where it will rip, or why it happens, the water you were not supposed to add earlier has turned this stuff into the Shroud of Turin.11. Gently smooth out the paper and hold down the edges firmly to ensure proper adhesion, but do this through osmosis or have a neurosurgeon friend come by to help, because this stuff is now more fragile than your family.12. All done. walk away...just walk away. When it dries up it will look better. I'm surprised it didn't shrink more and hope the coat of paint adds a more finished look to it, but I wouldn't be surprised if touching it with a paint brush would make it disintegrate.

So much to say!!! I have a small car so I couldn't fit large pieces of beedboard in my car and I wanted to cover the outside of a breakfast bar with beedboard. This wallpaper was the perfect solution... with a few caveats.The Glue: I've never hung wallpaper, so maybe this was just a learning lesson on wallpaper. I didn't have a wall paper tray to submerge it in water as recommended, so I laid it flat, on it's face, on a towel and DRENCHED the backside with a dripping wet washcloth that I re-wetted (if that's a word) several times. This worked for me instead of submerging it. You then must let it sit for 5 minutes to activate the glue. I should've probably re-wetted (there's that possibly non-word again) the edges immediately before applying the paper because the edges pulled up after waiting the recommended 24 hours for it to dry.The Texture: I used this wallpaper to cover a piece of furniture, and I know I'm never taking it off, so I just applied a little gorilla glue under the dried edges, which worked well! However, many reviews say it covers imperfections. There were many imperfections on the existing piece of furniture that I didn't bother to smooth or sand completely, thinking this wallpaper would cover the imperfections. It did not. Every little bump shows through the texture of the wallpaper, although it probably does disguise the imperfections a bit.Also regarding the texture, it's a foam type of material, so It EASILY dents and scratches. And it definitely needs to be painted.The Material: After accidentally ripping a couple areas while the glue was wet, I had to remind myself that THIS IS WALLPAPER-not wood. Also, real beedboard is in panels that can make a sharp corner. With the wallpaper, the seams around corners did not come to cleanly, so I've added trim to each corner to hide the seams.Enhancement: Even with paint, I think it still feels a bit fragile, so I am considering adding polyurethane on top since I've used this on a piece of furniture that will probably get bumped a bit. I'm thinking the polyurethane will provide a more durable surface.All in all, it's actually been more work than if I'd just gotten actual beedboard, BUT I've been able to use scissors instead of a saw and the overall look is what I was going for with beedboard. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to do limited areas of beedboard and don't want to have to use a saw or who can't really haul large pieces of beedboard paneling, but I think it would be expensive as actual wallpaper.

This wallpaper is AMAZING! I had been wanting to do bead board for my kitchen backsplash for over a year, but didn’t have the tools to do the real thing. I saw this textured wallpaper on Instagram and was very intrigued, but also VERY skeptical. I can say with 100% honesty that this wallpaper blew me away.This is the 4th time I have hung wallpaper and it was just as good of quality as magnolia brand from Home Depot if not better. The adhesive was perfect, easy to use, and easy to manipulate after placing. I was even able to press seams down even more after placement and paint by getting finger wet and running it just behind the edges that were still a bit noticeable. Also would recommend for first time users of wallpaper because it was SO easy to work with. 10/10.DO NOT paint with glossy paint, I made this mistake using paint from what I used on our cabinets. It showed the imperfections of the wallpaper too much. I painted over with a satin finish and this was much better and looked more realistic. Painting it was a breeze, needing 2-3 coats of paint. I am love with the look and so happy it was so easy and inexpensive to do. One roll covered my entire kitchen backsplash!

Sembrava troppo bello per essere vero infatti non lo è.Bisogna inumidirla per attivare la colla e stenderla sulla parete. L'applicazione è semplicissima e non fa bolle. Purtroppo però non resta attaccata, ho atteso anche 48h e risultava completamente asciutta, ma non resiste. Reso effettuato.

I did a successful renovation project of my kitchen cupboards using this wallpaper material , I painted the cupboard doors and the overlay wallpaper with white oil paint using electric spray gun , the result was fantastic.

el papel es muy bonito, pero es delicado, puede dañarse facilmente si se coloca en una zona muy expuesta por eso le doy 4 estrellas

A great wallpaper. It’s good quality, thick and easy to hang. I’ll certainly be buying more.
