Does this fit a 2012..... 2500HD?

If you have a 4L60E transmission it will. Check what tyranny you have and check the diameter of the inspection hole .the measurement of that cover is in the description at Amazon.

Will this fit my 2009 Silverado?

I would assume it will. I installed it on my 2009 Chevy Tahoe with 5.3 litre with automatic transmission. Silverado, Tahoe, and Suburbans will all have the same driveline.

Will this fit on a 2012 gmc yukon??

Most likely it will. it fit my 460E transmission bell housing in a Silverado

There are supposed to be two covers on the transmission is this the big one or the small one?

This is just a dust cap for viewing the flywheel I am unaware of any of the cover other than the one that bolts on over the the bottom of the transmission and holds in the fluids
