Copper Sulfate Small Crystals 10lb Bag

Excellent product that excels at killing the moss/lichens on my roof in the Pacific NW. I just carefully toss or spread it on the roof and let the rain do the work. I am careful to ensure it does not get anywhere any organic on the ground as it will kill them (I have rocks all around so not really a concern.)

This copper sulfate works amazing! I used it to clear out roots in my drain pipes and septic system, and it did the job perfectly. After just a short time, the pipes started flowing freely again. The crystals dissolve well and are easy to apply — just pour into the toilet or cleanout and flush with plenty of water. It’s a simple, effective, and affordable solution compared to calling a plumber. I’ve tried other products before, but this one really works

Good amount of product for the price. Good quality. I bought this for my dad cause he’s into gardening and he said this and something else combined helps plants from growing bad. He said it was exactly what he was looking for and it was good.

In the wisdom of our county you can't run the end clean water directly into a covered ditch. So they ran a lateral pvc along the ditch next to the covered ditch and poked holes in it for the water to seep into the ditch line. They plugged and caused a back up in the leach field. Took the inspection pipe cover and water shot out of there for an hour over a foot high straight up. Use this and have not issues with tree roots.

It does what it’s advertised to do. Be prepared to put it on your calendar to remind you.

Works very well to clear pool!

The price is good. The performance is very good. I use for algae control for my pond and root control for my septic lines. It does not hurt my fish( follow directions) Tip: If you have an access to your drain lines(septic), add it there. Otherwise if you add it to your tanks you will need to retreat them with enzymes in 2 weeks. You need good bacteria in your septic system. This product is an algaecide, it works. I recommend it. Oh and from what I can find it is non hazardous and not a chemical.

I saw someone say that a plumber told them to fill up some pantyhose with these crystals and tie them to the sink where the washing machine empties out into. So, that every wash cycle a little bit would go down the drain killing the roots. I did a foaming root killer that worked great and bought these to be more preventative maintenance. I did the panty hose trick and it wiped out 1lb in one load of laundry. I thought it would more gradually dissolve over a few washes. So, this seemed like a waste. I tried some other trick where you add vinegar, peroxide, dish soap and whatever else, I don't remember off hand, to try to make this foam up to kind of make my own foaming root killer since the bottled foaming root killer is so expensive. But that didn't work either. I don't like that these crystal don't foam up. I feel like it's not getting to the top of the pipe where the roots would be coming from. So, I'm not 100% sold on this stuff. I wish I could make it foam up....
