I honestly thought it would taste really fishy, but it didn’t. I love fish and salmon but it didn’t really taste like it. Maybe it was just the batch I got, but overall pretty good. It is softer then beef jerky and has a hint of taste to it. I think it was a good purchase but would like a bigger serving for price.

I love salmon jerky but this is by far the worst tasting and texture I have ever had. It has a super acidic aftertaste like the kind you get after you vomit, as well as being very dry and dog food like. So, dog food vomit flavor is gonna get 0/5 stars from me.

This salmon jerky is just mid. I feel like there is not much flavor. I tasted more of an after taste rather than actual taste while eating it. It is not bad nor is it really that good. The after taste was coconut flavored like I drank a cup of coconut water. I personally could not taste any maple but I do believe this jerky is a good and healthy option especially if someone may not be a fan of fish. It is bland and I think the ingredients wash away the smoky salmon flavor. I would have really liked to like this more since it is one of the cheaper salmon jerky's I have come across but I can see why it is cheaper now that I have tried it. Like I said it is not bad but there are much better flavor jerky's out there.

For me they are very tasty. Very expensive for the amount but tasty. Makes me want to invest in my own smoker

... and I did not like it. I love fish. I love smoked fish. I saw these and thought, "ooh, well THIS is something I've never tried." I could just as well have gone without it. I like salty smoked fish. I have had honey smoked fish and found it excellent, and thought this product might be similar. Nope. Sweet glazed fish jerky was NOT the flavor adventure that my tastebuds was hoping for. I didn't like the smell, the taste, and I found the texture to be the most off-putting of all. The best way I can explain it was that it started off like fish jerky, and the texture quickly disintegrated into sweet fishy chewy sawdust. I'm so disappointed, because I really wanted to like this stuff. Maybe if there were a savory version I'd like it a bit more, but the texture was the biggest no-no of all for me. It was creative, though.
