Deadman Wonderland, Vol. 4

Love the books. Glad I’m reading the book before I watch the show. You can see the differences.

Deadman wonderland is a gruesome, graphic, adult look at a privatized prison where inmates are forced to play deadly games to survive. I personally loved this series, plenty of gore, language, and dark themes kept me drawn in. I saw the anime before I read the manga, and the two tie very closely together thankfully. Must buy if you like dark, graphic stories!

As I have said before, I adore this series! The illustrations are just as amazing as the storyline and I cannot wait for more! If your an anime/manga fan I highly recommend you read it! Be mindful of the swearing and gore though. The storyline is amazing and my only negative comment would be that I can't find any more of this books!

The manga was in excellent condition! Looked just brand new! Had no types of wear to the book and just overall amazing!😁

Since I saw this anime on Toonami, I came here and had to get the manga! Order came in a day before scheduled and in perfect condition! I can only hope the 6-11 volumes can get translated into English. I can't get enough of this series.

I keep saying this, but everyone is psychotic in this series. Pretty much everyone. And every time we meet a new characters, it’s likely they’re also psychotic. We met a few new characters at the end of the last volume, and in this one we meet their gang, just before their plan to expose Wonderland takes off. And, of course, this includes some deaths and psychotic people. I don’t know why it’s still surprising me how horrific this series is. The deaths are not hidden from the viewer, or downplayed. They’re horrible. I should be more cynical about it at this point, shouldn’t I? Anyway, they’re horrible. The characters learn more horrors of Deadman Wonderland, but nothing is really revealed to the outside. Two of the new characters have a story I’m at least a little intrigued by. Ganta, though, has a fight with Shiro, and I feel bad for her. He's kind of a jerk, even if he does have his reason. The betrayal from the last volume has been replaced by me just feeling bad for and wary of her. Because there’s more to what’s going on with her than I think even she knows. And I don’t like it. I just like Shiro, and I want her to be happy. The cliffhanger is a bit bad. I’m excited to see what happens next.

The story is good vs crazy. All of the characters are here because someone else's will not their own.

been hunting around for the remaining copy's of the comic since TokyoPop is now defunkt. found it here, online, and recieved it in like New Condition. I am very pleased and will continue to look for the rest of the series here on Amazon

Arrived swiftly

I enjoy this series and $11 dollars isn't a bad price

The packaging was on the weaker side. The book was loose in a cardboard box, would have wished that it atleast was in a plastic cover for protection against the elements. Luckly book arrived in alright condition.

The fourth volume of the `Deadman Wonderland' manga sees Ganta join up with the underground organization Scar Chin in an effort to bring down the insane prison. Deadman Wonderland's annual inspection is coming up and Scar Chin are going to use this opportunity to expose the prison's illegal activities. The only thing standing in their way are the Undertakers, a group of murderers specially trained and conditioned to fight Deadmen. This is another very good volume of `Deadman Wonderland' with some nice gore and some very good fights. Despite having a few issues the plot remains good and is very interesting. The characters introduced in this arc are interesting and the Undertakers are brilliantly twisted. This volume does have a few issues with the translation however (Scar Chin being referred to as Skull Chin at one point being the most obvious) but other than this there aren't really any major problems with the volume and it is well worth a full five stars.
