Beautiful Design
I love this design. I received this today, and was able to put it together by myself in about 40 minutes. It came packaged in a cardboard box, identifying that this was made in China, with the foam wrapped pieces packaged between Styrofoam. I ordered dark taupe and it is the greyish toned wood that others have described. Exactly what I wanted. The directions make assembly look way way more complicated than it really is. I put all the screws and parts into each of the four legs first, attached the middle and bottom shelf to one leg and added the other three legs one at a time as I rotated the table. I then tightened up everything and attached the top. It goes together quite nicely this way. It's pretty sturdy. I left it by the kitchen counter while cleaning space for it and came back to find it being used as a stool. I bought it to hold a plant. Since it doesn't have a wide base, I will probably use a cascading plant with this vase, maybe a Tradescantia as I wouldn't put anything too top heavy on it. Otherwise I'd go with something more grounded to the surface of the table. I'm ordering a second one for the other corner of the room and will update this review with photos of how I easily assembled this piece.Update: I put my second one together and took some photos during assembly. I see that Jennifer Hiatt posted photos as well, as it looks like our process is the same. I started by putting in all the pieces that go into each leg, including a drop of glue to secure the wooden dowels. I then attach the top shelf brace and bottom shelf apron to each leg. The middle and bottom shelf are then attached to leg one. The second leg attaches at three points, the two prongs into the top shelf brace, one prong into the middle shelf and one prong into the bottom shelf. Make sure the bottom shelf apron fits nicely between the two legs and is not crooked. When attaching I half tighten the locks. I then just rotate the shelf and do the same with the third leg then the fourth or last leg. The last leg will attach to both the third and first top shelf brace. I insert the four long screws at the bottom to secure the apron, and place the stickers over the nail head, grain with grain. Drop a little glue into the dowel holes of the top shelf and pop it on top. Go over the entire shelf and ensure my locks are tight and done. Took me about 25 minutes this time.

Very Attractive and Sturdy
The assembled table is quite good looking and very solid. I like it and would recommend it. However, be advised that it takes some time to assemble it. The directions lack very much detail, but go slow and keep referring to the diagrams. Allow 1.5 to 2 hours from start to finish. But the final product is worth the time and effort.

Get a magnifier and an engineer
The stand itself is very nice and fit our space almost perfectly to accommodate our multiple Alexia components They are in easy reach without cluttering up a counter in the master bath and out of harms way of the water. The assembly is the most counterintuitive of any I have ever done because of the curved legs attaching at opposing corners. There are no text directions only pictures of multiple steps in a single diagram and parts microscopically labeled you have to put in the wrong thing to deduce the error. I put it aside after a couple of hours because the last thing I wanted was to find out I had put in something upside down or backwards that would necessitate disassembling all of it. I did finish it with a clearer head today by putting on all the screw in "bolts" on the remaining pieces first. The wood dowels are the hardest to sort out on the diagram but easy once the bolts are in to figure out. I left all the tightening of the large and small lock screws to have enough play to accommodate slight variation of the drilled holes to square it up at the end.

Best ever!
Love it! It is a small bedside table I needed in a certain color to match my furniture and a certain height I needed. The height is hard to find in this color and to have four legs at the bottom and not be a solid piece. I looked months for something like this when redoing my bedroom and to fit a tall lamp behind it. It took a bit to put together and didnt expect it to take as long as it did to put together. The table is very sturdy but did need a rubber mallet to push the pieces together better since they were not sliding into eash other with the tool. The table is pretty and can truly be used for anything and anywhere in your home. I have had this table for months and still is holding up great! I would highly recommend.

Not easy to assemble
It is a very nice, sturdy and good looking table, however it as very hard to assemble and the instructions were not very easy to follow, there were no written instructions, just illustrations that were not very easy to follow and we have assembled many things, this was not our first assembly.

Beautiful end/accent table
This table is beautiful, sturdy, and a perfect size for my bedroom corner. Assembly was pretty easy once I stared at the provided diagrams for a while.. however, there were some discrepancies between the images and real life assembly which required some logic to get past (i.e. a few parts were drawn incorrectly). Not a huge issue though and this table was definitely worth it.

Adorable table, just right for the price
I love this table! It has just the right amount of personality for my office and doesn't overwhelm the small space. The wood feels thick and sturdy enough for the table's purpose. I don't think I could load it up with dumbbells, but I would trust it with some heavy books, no problem. The instructions were Ikea-master level. I'm glad that I have a lot of experience with Ikea assembly, otherwise I'd have been very lost. When you open the instruction booklet, it looks like it's just five steps, but those could and should be broken down a lot more. Nevertheless, I assembled it within an hour and only had to disassemble-reassemble one thing that I'd installed upside-down. When I finished, the table felt sturdy, and I felt very accomplished. If you need a small table for odds and ends, this one is perfect.

Need written instructions would be extremely helpful
This item is exactly what I was looking for. However to assemble it was a disaster. There is no labels on any of the bags that hold the screws. Everything is by pictures, no written instructions. For a moment I bought this from IKEA.
