The function of the pen works well. Easy clicking mechanism. Nice hand feel and lightweight. Sharp looking colors with the gold contrast of our engraving. Definitely recommend this as an entry level Cross pen.

I actually ordered this pen thinking it was the classic stainless silver ball point. When it arrived, I honestly was disappointed because of my mistake. But if it were not for my mistake I would not have discovered this pen. It is the pen that I carry with me every day. I would not hesitate to order it again either as a gift for someone else or for myself. Also, I received it very quickly from the seller.

I am really happy with this pen. I wanted a nicer looking pen that was sleek yet simple in design. I love that this pen is not too thick as I prefer a slender barrel. It feels great to hold and write with. I've already ordered an ink refill.

I love Cross pens, and I have 14 of them in various finishes. This Cross Click pen looks like the traditional Cross pens. but the new click function makes it easier to quickly use with one hand. I bought red ones, black ones, and blue ones, and they all have the satin-like finish. I like this finish best because my hand doesn't slide down the barrel of the pen like the slippery Cross pens with the shiny finish. If you have an old Cross pen with black satin finish, these are the same finish. It is simply a matter of personal preference. I originally rated these Cross Click pens 5-stars, but I now have to change it to 3-stars. The last few of these I purchased have substandard ball points. The ink does not come out smoothly, and you have to have a piece of scratch paper available upon which to scratch the point to get the ink flowing. Even then, it doesn't flow enough. I had to buy a pack of refills because of this. This flaw appeared recently and suddenly, and I hope Cross remedies the problem quickly. Furthermore, the blue version of this pen is not as pictured. Cross has changed the design. The photos above show the pen with a thin silver delineation around the perimeter. This is the style where the user pulls the pen apart to change the ink cartridge. The blues pens are no longer like that. The top of those pens unscrew to facilitate changing the ink cartridge. When screwed back in place, the top of the barrel meets the bottom of the barrel, and there is no silver delineation ring. I personally think the silver ring makes the pen look more classy, but apparently, Cross designers don't agree with me. It is a matter of preference.

Daughter lives a click pen, for that reason didn’t like the other cross purchased. This one she is ecstatic about. Write smooth, as all cross’ do. Very thin.
