Minerals DE25BOX Diatomaceous Earth Pool Filter D.E. 25 lbs

I use this product consistently in my inground pool DE filter. Once i have backwashed, i add this directly to the intake basket closest to the pool equipment. It dissolves instantly and traps debris keeping it out of the pool. It takes pool maintenance in addition to the DE product. You must pull the filter cartridge out at least each summer to take apart and clean the individual vanes for consistent performance, but this powder provides that absorptive layer. I try to use a little less than required per my filter size as i don't want to have it build up and produce resistance.

Good product

It’s packed in a heavy paper bag inside a cardboard box. Although my order arrived safely I was wondering what if it arrived in the rain. Perhaps consider a plastic bag
