These pencils are great when they are freshly out of the box. After about 5 min of use you’ll have to resharpen and they’ll never work again. They are so hard to sharpen and they sometimes don’t even write. It’s been so annoying to say the least. I was trying to give them a chance but don’t think I’d buy them again.

Well, they are a good value.I did think they were going to be charcoal in the traditional sense but they are harder like a 2h graphite. that does mean they will last longer, I just have to change how i was going to use them.

I got these for my kids to use on black paper. They work okay but you do have to sharpen them with a knife. I knew that when I got them, but I decided to get them anyway, but I do not think they are giftable because of that.

Great option to all the standard pencils in my woodworking shop. Adds a good contrast to the some of the woods I work with and the tip lasts a long time.

These pencils are exactly what I needed. I do a lot of woodworking using dark woods such as walnut, wenge and ebony. Regular pencil lines on these woods are very difficult to see. The lines produced by these pencils show up clearly and are just what I needed.

Very useful both for charcoal and pastel art
