Aleavia Body Cleanse – Organic & All-Natural Prebiotic Body Wash – Fragrance-free and Sulfate-Free Enzymatic Body Cleanser – 16 Oz.

This is my first experience with this brand. I was using Nivea, but they've changed their formula where it was drying my skin out something fierce. I decided to search for something more natural when this one popped up. The feel is very luxurious. It's a thick gel consistency vs a cream, which I more used to. It's very smooth and not jelly, like other brands. It doesn't really foam, which is common among more natural products, but I feel clean after using the product. It's not greasy or heavy on the skin, which is a definite plus. I also love that a little goes a long way. I have very sensitive, 40-year-old skin and have strong allergies to perfumes and certain ingredients. I was a little hesitant with the smell, but it's been awesome. It smells a little strong out of the bottle, but quickly absorbs and becomes very subtle as you use it. I can't quite describe the orchid smell for you, as I've never smelled anything like it before. It's not a heavy rose scent and not powdery at all. What I can tell you is that it made me think of a higher end spa product. So, think more high-end smell vs an artificial one you'd find in most products. I absolutely love that this is cruelty free, only has 8 ingredients I can actually pronounce, eco-friendly, AND made in the US. I've never been able to find a product that hits those buttons for me. It makes the price not seem as high as if you were grabbing a different product from Target or Walmart. I really can't say enough good things about this product. This brand is a staple and I love this so much, I'm turning on the subscription for it. You will not go wrong with this product.

The smell is heavenly. I have pretty sensitive skin but this stuff is gentle and leaves my skin feeling quite soft, clean, and refreshed.

This body wash really stands out for how clean the ingredients are. It feels gentle on the skin and I appreciate that it’s made with more natural, thoughtful ingredients. The scent is also really nice—light, fresh, and not overpowering. The green tea honeysuckle combination smells clean without being overly perfumed. The smell is divine - honeysuckle delight (or if you aren’t familiar with the scent, it’s close to orange blossom). It’s also one of the rare body cleansers I’ve used that I can still smell the scent on my skin after rinsing off, which is one of things I love most about it. However, it wasn’t texture or performance-wise what I expected based on the keywords in the listing. It’s not a body wash whatsoever, it’s a gel cleanser (aka aloe vera is the key enzyme ingredient). There is no soap, no suds. This isn’t a bad thing depending on use-case, I use gel and enzyme cleansers for my face skincare, but I was pretty bummed to find it does not do a great job of removing slick substances from the body skin, like sunscreen. I used for the first time after sitting for a few hours in the sun with Integrity Sun’s Sports and Goop’s Unseen (clear) sunscreen on - so both a physical barrier zinc and a chemical sunscreen - and it failed to get both sunscreens off even with using the loofah they sent with it. I had to supplement with my natural bar of soap to remove the slick sunscreen layers and then finish with this enzyme cleanser. Their website Q&A section does a much better job explaining their product than does their Amazon store listing. I suggest reading up there first before you buy. My plan is to use it almost like a dry shampoo - every few days in between using my Lush and Alba body washes that also have scents that I love - when I want to give my skin a break. While the website doesn’t say this, I’m going to also apply this to dry skin before the shower to let it soak in a bit and then rinse off. It’s a great product if you are looking for a non-sudsing body wash for sensitive skin or every few days you want to give your skin a break from harsh soap body washes.

Doesn't dry your skin. Leaves it silky smooth. The smell is wonderful and I am very picky.

This smells fabulous. It's a masculine scent, but I use it too, because it doesn't linger on your skin. Skin feels very clean after using, and not dry. I'm going to try the lotion too.

So, I do like this product however not as a body wash. I get essentially zero lather from it and I don’t feel clean. It does leave the skin very soft and relaxed so I currently use it as a secondary body wash to soothe. But once I’m finished I won’t repurchase. Fantastic scent though!

Worth every penny. I’ll never use anything else for a body wash. It smells AMAZING, and real, not a synthetic scent. I’m sensitive to smells, and this one is great because it’s real orchids. My daughter is prone to rashes for years, and this PH balanced formula cleared up her rash too. I wish this company made shampoo! Finally a truly all natural product.

I really wanted to love this product but I just didn't. I didn't feel clean after using it.

Nice feel on skin, definitely feels less reactive. Doesn't lather well at all though, so doesn;t give great confidence in the cleaning ability.
