Bought these at the end of season last year. Only used them a couple times. I have been riding with them now for the entire spring and beginning of summer. I am still knew to using clips and all. However, I really like them. The tension adjustment is great. Would definitely recommend using a trainer to play with the tension before riding. LOL. tension being loose is one thing, but coming to a stop with too much holding you in can be an unenjoyable event. Not to mention embarrassing as you so gracefully come to a stop then because you can't get your feet out you slowly fall to the side. Let's just say that emo teenager in the car behind me smiled for the first time in 2 years. Glad to be of help! A friend i ride with tried it with his shoes, and the cleats fit perfectly. No issue with different brands of cleats. I wondered. I even like the colors. My bike is green and white and these pedals look nice against that color. Might be a little heavier than the more expensive brands but if you are not setting out to beat any records, I think these are perfect. Especially for new riders like myself.

These unique colorful pedal looks great outdoors and sticks out. They are super lightweight and they are replacing the Shimano Light Action pedals I installed after I received my bike. Couldn't be more pleased as the color blends well with the yellow/greenish color that is on my wheels and frame. But the color of these pedals will look cool on any road bike regardless to the frame or wheel color. Kootu's pedals deserve a (6) ☆☆☆☆☆☆ rating and you won't be disappointed if you purchased these beauties.

Bearings are too stiff. Does not spin very well. Got them to complete the look of this build but not worth it. Would not recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these KOOTU pedals. Before getting these pedals, I had never heard about the KOOTU brand. The pedal quality appears to be excellent. They have performed well doing our regular casual rides. Overall these are superb pedals for the price, and the colorful pedals get a lot of comments.

I had some spin/cycle shoes from spin class and now that I purchased a NordicTrack bike I wanted some clip in pedals for the bike instead of the standard pedal. These work great with the bike as well as the shoe clips.(I already had some but this came with a set also)

IM a daily rider and the finish on these is lousy but they are a good trial pedal for Shimano SPD Sls. Before you shell out 200+ on a set of the real deal, this is a good way to find out if you like the use of this method and platform.

These pedals are incredibly sticky and do not spin freely around their axis. I promptly returned them, even though they’re beautiful to look at.

These pedals are relatively heavy, and I was a bit chagrined to find that as I unpacked them. I’m returning them, however , because my wife found them impossible to kick out of even at the lowest tension setting. They’re too heavy for me so they’re going back.

The product came as described and packaged well. There were no installation instructions, so I was a bit confused how to tighten the pedals. but realized there was a socket for an allen key on the inside threads of the pedals. Once I saw this, it was easy to install. (You'll have to have the corresponding allen key to tighten thes). The left pedals tension does not seem to change when I loosen it - but I'll give it another go. Rode 45 km with no issues.
