100 Position Key Cabinet

This is an edit of my original review. I'm a property manager and needed a locking key cabinet. This fit the bill exactly and the quality is very good. The materials are sturdy and the door and lock work seamlessly. There are plenty of key tags. What else can I say... you hang your keys on it, not complicated. I was originally disappointed because i had to install many of the key hangers myself which took a long time. Customer service reached out to me and assured me that was not supposed to be the case and fully rectified the situation. Very friendly and they followed through on their promise quickly. Good product and good service deserves a 5 star.

It is simple and sturdy with room for plenty of keys. The package states 64 keys. In practical use with the size of many more modern keys that contain RFID and other technologies, that number is practically less. It comes with stickers on the metal mounting plates that are numbered, which is very nice and coincides with the number (64) of positions available. It also comes with a numbered sheet for writing the purpose or location of any key. For example "house", "library", "attic", "car1/2" etc. Making it simple to use as a lookup table for easy and fast finding of keys. My only real complaint is the way the mounting plates for the keys are designed, they are difficult to insert or remove, which is necessary in order to make certain your keys are properly spaced in the vertical plane. That aside, it also comes with 64 key tags and a spare set of keys for the key safe itself. It is a nice, simple setup that is built decently well without frivolous features and it does its job well.

This works perfectly in our home where there seem to always be a missing key! We love it!

Very well made. I like that rows of keys can be customized to fit the length of hanging keys. We supplemented the supplied hardware with large neoprene washers between the wall and lock box to stop vibration and muffle noise from opening/closing the lock box.

This item quality is great. Will purchase again if needed.

- It wasn't double-boxed. Arrived in its OEM box with a label slapped on it. - The opening flap wasn't even taped closed. - Came with no documentation, so don't even think about ordering spare or replacement parts. - The key hooks are pretty flimsy. - The lock is very good. Came with (4) keys! Go figure. - The powder-coat paint is very good. - This box will hold a gazillion keys! Overall the box is pretty well made other than the cheap key hooks. And don't even think about moving w/o damage the the key hook rows! Again, no documentation or instructions. I ended-up stealing the lock off this box and putting it on my old key box which had a broken lock. It fits and works well with a little modification.
