This cordless drill works great. Gets the job done. Not cheap made.

My old one had to be 10 or more yrs old, was glad to see the old batteries and accessories all fit the new one. This will do good I use it to power the jack on my car trailer and its part of my Rv toolbox so they get extream use.

Had to reorder as I just dropped,knocked my last matrix drill off of a 5' shelf and landed on concrete floor and went poof, pop, fizzle with blue smoke pouring out of drill and battery. Seriously I wanted to cry as I have loved my last 2 black & decker matrix drills. My first drill lasted 8 years before I replaced it last year. started slipping when screwing in longer screws to where 1/8-1/4" of a 3" screw was still showing but the drill wouldn't actually turn the screw. Still 8 years was pretty solid use which I am pretty happy with. Now my last matrix drill that was accidentally drill abuse and the drill God's will never forgive me. But I must say that I love my Matrix drill with all it's attachments. And yes i am ashamed of my behavior. I was just in need of replacing the drill itself and battery. Blue smoke is scary coming out of a hand drill. Seriously a week later and I could still smell burning wires/plastic in the pole barn I was working in.

nice drill so far. the only thing i dont like is seening sparks inside the drill when you push the trigger. but overall nice drill

The item arrives on time. New condition. We'll packaged. Took battery out and full charged it with accompanying charger. I made sure it used other batteries I had. It worked perfectly. I bought this as a backup for my other B&D Matrix drill. I really like the other attachments that I literally use all the time. Bonus, the magnet on the top of the drill base is really handy to hold screws and bits. It's was surprisingly handy.

Obviously, this is a light to medium duty tool for a casual homeowner or hobby use but it does serve well in a compact toolbox for occasional use a few times a year. This replaces an older Matrix tool and is compatible with the set of tools such as the router, jig saw and impact wrench attachments. This newer version does have a handy LED lamp on the bottom handle to help see the work area and it has a magnetic area on the top for temporary holding of bits or screws. Temporary because it's easy to knock off the small items when climbing a stepladder. Use shirt pockets for loose items. The older tool had a single clip for a screwdriver bit that was more secure. Someday I will find the older tool, but has complete compatibility with the batteries, the charger and all the attachments, so as the saying goes "Two is one and one is none" better to have a backup than nothing.

Replacement for one I used for years. Unfortunately this one didn't last even a year. Black and Decker stood by it and replaced it at no charge. Very satisfied with product and service.

I am very surprised by the quality of the product. Performs difficult tasks. I unscrewed the screw on the variomat (part on the motorcycle-scooter), which is difficult if the tool is not good, very strong. Recommendation for this tool.

I have two of these drills, and multiple attachments. The Matrix lineup is great for a DIYer, homestead, or small farm looking for a versatile tool lineup without breaking the bank. Definitely not as powerful or durable as a dedicated Milwaukee or Makita drill that can survive years of daily use on a jobsite, but that's not its purpose. I've built a lot of stuff on our property (house reno, shed build, etc) with it already and am quite happy with it. Just make sure you have a back up corded tool for those few times when you need serious power so you don't burn out the motor (i.e. for driving lag bolts or drilling large holes in steel plate).

This is a truly versatile power tool kit for the occasional person. It has almost everything you may need to do simple repairs and small projects around the house. The Matrix system also has additional accessories which I have also purchased and used like the air inflator which makes it so easy and convenient to inflate car tires. I also have a lawn trimmer which uses the 20V system so it expands and useability of the system as it uses the same battery.

Dudaba sobre haber elegido esta herramienta (Habiendo más en el mercado). Pero al tenerla en mis manos y usarla literalmente me callé el hocico. Es muy práctica y funcional (costo-beneficio). Lo interesante aquí es el sistema Matrix que te abre todo un mundo de posibilidades (teniendo más de 3 aditamentos). Esta herramienta viene con el aditamento de talador (Solo taladro). Aunque también sirve como atornillador (Aún así yo compre a parte el Destornillador de Impacto). Hablando del taladro ya he tenido la oportunidad de usarlo para perforar paredes de block (con enjarre de concreto y estuco). Usando una broca de punta de las que se usan para azulejo (Ya sé que no son para eso y que se desgastan más rápido) pero funcionó de maravilla. En donde si falló fue en las dalas y castillos. Me dio miedo causarle daños a la unidad cuando intenté perforar una dala (solo logré una perforación de un centímetro hasta que me topé con una piedra). Para todo esto lo hice a bajas revoluciones y sin ejercer mucha presión sobre la herramienta (Lento pero seguro). No puedo hablar sobre el rendimiento de la batería ya que solo lo he usado como 1 hora o menos y no ha sido mucha la carga de trabajo. Hablando del envío, llegó varios días antes de lo previsto y en muy buen estado. Sin duda compraré más aditamentos.
