McReady for the win
Wonderfully done! This is a “must have” for anyone who loves The Thing. The face is so good, for being an affordable action figure—this is not a Sideshow piece, but will make you smile. The accessories (ability to change hands) is a fun addition…they even got his Jim Beam correct.

Purchased as a gift - but WOW
I always get my action figures from NECA, because my son swears by them for his Japanese figures. This made a great Christmas gift. I meant it as a joke, but he was really excited to get this. He spent time going over all the pieces. This was an excellent purchase.

Great action figure, but poor handling by shippers.
The figure itself is great, and the scale is perfect. Everything was as advertised, but for someone like me who collects nostalgia, I was disappointed that the box was a little damaged. Collectors know that packaging is important and affects its value over time. Corners were impacted, the plastic is scratched, and overall looks like it got thrown around a bit. I typically don’t open the boxes as they’re supposed to be collectors items and hung up on display, but I think Macready is coming out of this box since it was damaged. Oh well. It’s still a very cool action figure.
