Absolutely badass exhaust system. It was very easy to install. The hardest part was the removal of the factory exhaust. The Atak system sounds amazing. It's loud enough to satisfy your hunger for growl but quiet enough to keep your Sierra/Silverado pleasant to drive in long distances. It quiets down to a low rumble once you've reached cruising speed. During the installation, it took some patience to get the tips aligned properly, but it wasn't too bad. The only issue I have with them is that they fill with a little bit of dirt if you drive in dusty or muddy areas. I knew that going in though, so it doesn't bother me. The side pipes are worth the added effort of the occasional cleanout. A big concern I had while researching exhaust systems was the drone everyone talks about when in V4 mode. This system has none at all. I can now tell when the truck switches into and out of V4 mode, but it doesn't resonate like other systems do. Borla truly did their research when engineering this sytem. Well done guys.

Installed these on my 2016 Silverado. Have the AFM disabler & K&N Series 63 Cold Air Intake installed as well. With 2 people this system was installed within an hour. The results will make this well worth the $1,100 price tag. I would highly recommend buying a range technology AFM disabler to go along with it. Don’t settle for less, buy this system.

This system sounds incredible. The notes put out as your engine brake kicks in slowing down for a stop light or sign are icing. You can tell they put a lot of R&D into the full spectrum of RPM to sound when they built this system. Most days I just turn the radio off and crack the windows to hear the sound coming off this exhaust. Pretty quiet at idle, and ferocious when you put the hammer down. Heads up that cold cranking will wake up your neighbors though. Install was a breeze. Removing the stock exhaust after disconnect was not. The best tip I can share is to lower your spare tire to the ground. This will free up some much needed space to pull the stock exhaust out through the passenger side of the truck between the wheels. Another tip is, on the 2018 Silverado models anyways, you have to utilize an already existing rear bumper anchor bolt to add the additional hanger bracket for the driver side portion of the split system. I believe it requires a 21mm socket and wrench to loosen the nut from the bolt. This socket size is not common in most weekend warrior guys garages, so check before going out and purchasing as I don’t clearly remember the exact size needed. You can also use a crescent wrens to grab ahold of the bolt to avoid purchasing a lesser used 21mm wrench. Last tip is in order to ensure that the exhaust tips rest at the same angle on each side of the truck, wait to fasten the two clamps that connect the muffler and driver’s side tip (two connections between these end points) until everything else is in place and fastened. Then you can adjust the angle of that connection by working the two pipes side to side before fastening down for the perfect match to the passenger side. Pretty simple all in all.

Easy to install, but the hangers are not properly located. The first tube behind the cat has a long hanger that rubs on the frame of the vehicle causing the exhaust system to rattle and vibrate into the cab. You would need to trim the hanger so it will not rub against frame of the vehicle, also by doing that hanger will not be properly secured into the rubber hanger, the rear exhaust tips are hard to adjust to at least look similar. Driver side exhaust tip hangs lower than the right side and sticks out a little bit more, for the price should have been built better, but the sound and performance is the best part. I wish you find a solution to the problems I had other than that, like I said sound and performace

The product is 100% well made, and it sounds amazing. Install was a breeze. Removal not so much, I wound up cutting one of the factory pipes because there was just no way for me to get around the shock. But again the install was very easy! 5stars all the way! It was really well thought out.

As expected from Borla, this exhaust looks and sounds spectacular. Installation was easy. Having a exhaust hanger removal tool made it even easier.

Well packaged, well made, and a perfect fit. The hardest part is getting the factory exhaust off, after that the install is breeze. The engineering of this kit is outstanding, far superior to other exhaust systems.
