Men's Easy Reader Watch

I had to write a review because. Well, I wanted to get a much nicer watch. But I came across this one, so reasonably priced. And just so functional. It's so easy to read the time clear and fast. Also, it's a watch that I can wear that doesn't say "this man is wearing jewelry." When I opened it up, the pictures really don't do it justice. It may be reasonably priced, but it looks and feels like a very high quality item. Extremely well made, and many subtle little things that useful not flashy. For ex, it has a sort of "backlight" so you can read it at night, just press the side button in. I was thoroughly impressed with this watch. Very happy.

Simple but elegant. The watch has a clean, classic look that works well without being flashy. It’s easy to read, comfortable to wear, and looks nicer in person than I expected for the price. A great everyday watch.

This is a beautiful watch which looks very classy and since the Timex it should be very accurate. I love that it has a backlight I wear it and it looks very good on me. My only complaint would be is the wristband I don't think it's going to hold up too much the watch looks like it's more expensive than it was but I guess they cut corners and the wristband. Other than that I'm very happy it was packaged nice very classy.

It's a decent watch, a good size and a nice design. The backlight is a great help at night. The watch's problems are the sound and the strap. The second hand is noisy and can be a bit annoying. The strap isn't very comfortable; when adjusted, it feels either too tight or a little loose. In conclusion, I recommend it for the price. The watch's quality is good, and it looks more expensive than it actually is. If they could make it quieter, it would be perfect.

I needed a watch where I could easily read the time, without pulling out my reading glasses -or- cell phone while on a pilgrimage. Also, to have the function to illuminate at night to see the time! This one fit all the boxes for me. The band is a bit stiff until you use it a few times, and the face of the watch is bigger due to the watch being sold as a men’s watch. But…I really like it and very glad I purchased this watch.

I bought this instead of a $600 watch, because this is more elegant and I love its minimalist lines and curves. I would have loved an open heart, or a sun & moon dial, but it's really distracting. I can tell time in an instant with this watch. The quartz movement in this watch is amazingly accurate. Quartz watches are the least-expensive, and very economical to maintain. The beige-colored dial is reminiscent of old parchment. The numerals are sharp and easy to see. This is a larger Easy Reader at 38mm. Most are 35mm. These watches have an audible ticking sound, which I like, but some find it distracting. The leather watch band fits wrist sizes from 5.8 inches to 7.5 inches and they are made of excellent quality leather. You can change the buckle, so don't forget to match the finish to your watch if you swap it out. Since these watches run on a battery, there are very few moving parts. You can learn to change out the old battery yourself; just do a YouTube search on how to do it, and buy yourself a watch repair tool kit for under $15.00 (in the year 2025). If you take care of this watch, it will last for several generations and hundreds of battery changes. And it sure beats paying out several hundred dollars on periodical servicing for a mechanical watch.

Box was crushed. Delivery was fine! Watch is fine. It is excellent for my overnight travels to see the time in a dark room! The price was even better!

I like watches and own a number, the most expensive one costing over $3,000. This one was recommended in a men's magazine published in the USA and at an impossibly low price. It looked good in photographs. To my pleasure I found it even more keenly priced on Australian Amazon than in the USA. The watch is a convenient size, not too large but the time, date and second hand are all very easy to read. I chose the gold leaf version with its parchment coloured watch face. It looks traditional but smart. One unusual feature is that, with a press of the winder, a soft green light illuminates the face. This is really useful for checking the time in a dark space such a theatre or in bed. The watch also came with a high quality leather strap in a harmonising mid-brown colour. Unsurprisingly perhaps, it keeps excellent time. I can't recommend this too strongly.

Lovely watch. The backlight is impressive. Very clear dial and nice packaging.
