I used it with a Mac Book Pro and the connectivity was fast. With power charging it heated a bit but was normal hot like any chargers. build quality is good. I have tested charging, USB A and C and ethernet port. Did not even need to download anything app or software, ethernet network was connected just like that overall happy with the product as it serves my needs.

This is perfect and a one stop shop for any requirements for connecting with MacBook's. Has everything an everyday user might need. Low footprint as well, which I really liked. Wish it came in same color options as the MacBook's, this one only matches the space grey versions. But that is considering more form over function.

Used it with an old samsung s8 to make a TV box. Powers the s8 via pd port and gives hdmi output in dex mode. Leave it powered 24 hours a day no problem with over heating. Excellent quality product.

It doesn't supply the same power as my laptop charger, but it still charges it. Although a bit slower. All the rest of functionality works fine. Recommended.
