I bought this book during my son's Early year. He had learning disability as a result of his cancer treatment. Nevertheless this book is a great source for kids learning to read and improve on vocabulary. Great book to have

I purchase this book recently, and I love it! My granddaughter is keeping up her studies for practice in the summer be ahead for her reading and comprehensive skills. I enjoy the passages and they have a few questions. Not overly stimulating! I recommend this book for the educational challenged student. As a retired educator, I recommend this for students who have trouble with reading and comprehension. Make sure you get the proper grade level or if you want to challenge your child, get a grade higher. Example fourth grade get fifth grade. If you think it will be too hard get there grade level or one grade below until they grasp the skill.

So happy with our purchase. We wanted some extra practice at home for our daughter.

I bought this for my 6th grade grandson. He struggles a little bit with reading and comprehension. This has been a great supplement to his school studies and he enjoys it. I have him complete just one page each evening and that keeps it simple enough for him so he doesn't get frustrated and not want to do it. Each page has 2 separate very short articles and then about 3 multiple choice questions each for what they read. He reads the articles out loud and then reads out each question. The articles are maybe only a paragraph or two long but they are interesting topics and he's doing it willingly so that's a good sign. Every few pages there is a vocabulary page to check on their comprehension. The book is a great price, it's being used, and isn't too involved. Great!
