These are excellent testers. I received them today and was surprised that they already include batteries. Nice! I powered them up and they all worked great. they are sensitive enough so that they only trigger on the hot side of regular 14-2 Romex cable. I also did a quick test on a string of Christmas lights (the bane of many a home owner) and it found the light I had removed quickly and accurately. I kept 1 for me and have the other 4 for Christmas gifts. (They don't need any fancy packaging!) (If you are really nice you could also part with the 5th one, but I'm not that guy.)

とっても気に入って使っています。 二代目です。初代も気に入って使っていたのですが、不注意で壊しました。 C国制に比べ高価なものなので大事にしようと思います。 気になるところは感度が良いせいか、静電気にも反応するようです。

It just works, you touch or stick the live/or non-live parts and see the bright indicator. You don't have to press the button to test, the button is just a battery checker. Pros: *Quick to use *The red led combined with the white cap grant a very clear indication when it detects voltage. Cons: *Doesn't have a sound indicator *The sensitivity is too low.
