Will this work for the 740s-6 ?

It may not work with a 740s-6. This is a replacement unit and does not come with a charger. It WILL NOT work with the 740s-6 charger.

I have an older Braun 8985 and want to know if this base will charge and clean my shaver as the base that came with my shaver just died after 8 years.
