Worked awesome on my 2004 duramax. Easy to use and comes with everything you need for an entire overhaul. I would recommend ordering the yukon pinion seal sleeve as well. Truck master on YouTube has a good rebuild video to show you how to set preload and back lash.

I ordered this kit on Monday when i realized the kit i got from the auto parts store had the wrong carrier bearings in it, and i had rung off one of my ring gear bolts, and stressed another beyond reuse. I know , I know, all the videos did say they were left hand threaded, but old habits die hard. Anyway with prime shipping, I had it in my hand by noon on Wednesday, and I got it put back together and test driven that same evening. My first ring n pinion set up, together with youtube, and detailed instructions in the kit I am proclaiming success. I didnt realize that the carrier bearings for my trutrack were bigger than stock, $170.00 down the drain for that kit. Incidentally this youkon kit cost about the same, and came with replacement ring gear bolts, two crush rings, and pinion & carrier bearing shim kits, and an acid brush, Timkin bearings and races and detailed instructions. None of wich were in the auto parts store kit.

Great master kit. This is better than the DT components master kit. Includes 2 crush sleeves, a new pinion nut washer, good pinion seal, and gasket. The DT components kit does not include a second crush sleeve, pinion nut washer, or OEM style seal. Pinion nut is 1-5/16" so be sure you have that size.
