Great knives
These knives are amazing. They came out of the box incredibly sharp. I cook a lot and thought I had pretty good knives before, but these were life-changing. They look no worse for wear after almost 2 years of use. I always hand-wash them.

Excellent set
Received this set as a holiday gift, very happy with included knives. I am an experienced home cook and my old knives left a lot to be desired… finally, I got new ones. The knives arrived boxed and very well packed. Upon inspection, everything was without damage. The knives are very sharp, balanced, and a true pleasure to use. If you are not sure which one is best for a task at hand, watch Wusthof promos and other YouTube videos where professional chefs give great knife usage tips and food cutting demonstrations. They are very helpful. I am particularly happy a honing steel is part of this 9-piece set, ensuring your knives stay well-maintained and sharp. The acacia wood block is very stable due to its low profile. It is very polished and handsome. Make sure you shake out the freshness preservative packets stuffed inside (I used chopsticks to push them out of narrow spaces inside the block).

If you do a lot of cooking, you know that your knives matter. These rock. HIGH quality. Very, very sharp. These are the real deal. Worth every penny.

Great product super fast delivery
As a chef I love quality knives (I have several custom ones). My old set at home finally needed replacement so I ordered these and was amazed at how fast they arrived. I live in Alaska so are shipping is normally really slow, I ordered these on Oct 9 they arrived on the Oct 12. Knife quality and feel is everything I expected from WÜSTHOF very happy so far. The knife block looks great and is very well made. Great quality overall. Highly recommended.

Best knives!
These are the best knives! They hold an edge for a long time but when they need sharpening the steel does a great job bringing them back to a great edge. This is my second set, needed good knives in the RV too!

Fractured blade
Reached for this knife this morning and saw this, a fractured blade. I can't imagine how this happened. I live alone so I can't blame a child for misusing it. It has sat in my block or on the counter and not used for anything but cutting food. It is possible at some time I dropped on the vinyl flooring, but don't recall this happening and that should not fracture a blade anyway. I would expect Wusthof to replace the knife - I will update.
