Proven to be a great lighter. Filled it with butane and it worked first try. Still lights on the first click.

This thing could cut off a catalytic converter in 7 seconds! Does use a very noticeable amount of butane though

I just bought this lighter and I was really excited about it. Love the chrome on it. But it wouldn't take the butane and when I finally got it to take a little bit, and it doesn't work. I've tried everything. Ended up getting a refund.

I have inexpensive piezo-electric lighters that worked well for the first 20-30 times and then failed to light; their finger pull trigger and guard made them difficult to to actuate for people with hand problems, and I couldn't see if they are generating a spark . This one can be activated easily with the thumb, but if necessary held with one hand and activated by the other; a lock prevents accidental spark generation (easily observed w/o risk to face), as well as leak of fuel. Some reviews reported leak of fuel but didn't confirm use of lock; I haven't had it long enough to rule out leakage in the locked position. I can now confirm Unfortunately, I found this lighter leaks when not used and was empty in about 3 weeks--in the locked position.

Really a well made tool. It's like a work of art. Feels nice and solid. Works great. Instructions don't say which way to hold the tank when filling the torch. There are TINY markings on the adjustment knob to tell you which say to turn it to adjust the flame. I can't imagine any need to not leave it on FULL all the time. If you turn it down too far it turns off.

This is the second one I bought from this company. This one is very solid. I dropped it many times on a hard floor and it's still holds its shape and barely marked up

Es 50%/50% compre dos y uno no lo use hasta despues, el primero todo bien pero el segundo se le escapaba todo el gas, no sirvio. Tampoco es taaaaan fuerte como para usar contra viento, quise usarlo en un yate y aun asi tenia que ir a donde hubiera menos viento.
