I just finished a huge painting job at my home. We had 18 new windows and a 6-foot slider installed, and all the new interior trim came primed white. I ordered interior latex paint, some brushes, and this foam roller set to prepare for the job. The foam rollers are easy to pop onto the handle and they performed well. I used them to paint all the flat, horizontal and vertical surfaces of the trim. They held paint well, didn't drip (I rotated the brush constantly until making contact with the surfaces) and left a smooth brush-free finish on those areas. Two coats of paint gave me great results. I used the same kit to paint an exterior door and trim on my house yesterday, using oil-based exterior paint. Again, I was happy with the finish, especially on the flat surfaces of the door. The plastic tray was very handy, but my only wish is that it would include more than one plastic insert for the tray. This was well worth every penny. Excellent quality at a great price.

I bought this for applying primer to a folding table that I wanted to epoxy. It worked great. I'd never used a sponge type paint roller before. It left a nice smooth finish and it was reasonably priced. I don't think it would be very suitable for a large room-painting operation, since in covers only four inches at a time, but I think it's great for small areas and projects. The roller cleans up easily, provided the stuff you are using is clean-up friendly, and no lint. I like it. I plan to epoxy my kitchen counter tops one day soon, and it will do nicely for putting down the base coat and top coat. I don't know if it matters, but I was using water-based paint. I don't know how it would hold up to oil-based paints. That could be a question for Ask Doofus.

I’ve been painting for over 50 years and I had to reface some kitchen cabs. Some old 1971 brown laminate cabs. They were nice once but have aged. Incidentally that is also my birth year so I felt even more inclined to put a fresh modern look on them. I ordered this kit for the rollers absence since I did a 2 color base and mica infused clear coat in gloss and satin ( doors and frame). Just enough rollers and an extra in this kit. The tray is convenient and has brush teeth on sides for excess paint removal and they work well for that. The roller frame is fine as are the rollers in dense foam. The brush is actually really good for a disposable and it got fully used along with the included drop cloth and tray liners. I could have used extra liners but it worked out ok. The value for money is definitely here. Compared to Home Depot it’s a no brainer and of better quality than some of hd’s pricier offerings. Will get again if needed for sure.

I just got them yesterday. I really haven’t tried them. I actually just put one on the machine about an hour ago and getting ready to clean a filthy floor with it put it to the test. I know my machine works good because the pads are came with do the trick. I’ve got a lot of little dogs here and this steam cleaner is great and the pads makes my job a lot easier thank you. I’ll let you know after I wash them and use them again and see how they hold up after I washed them and put them on again. I’ll let you know they look good. They look like the ones I got with the machine actually I’m hoping.

Let me start by saying I hate working with oil based/enamel paint, especially outside. I needed to repaint a small iron gate and exterior light set that had faded black latex paint and a few rust spots. The project to convert to Rust oleum enamel - a more durable finish - required a moderate amount of prep work, a primer and two finishing coats. I debated about trying rollers. The horizontal and vertical bars are narrow and I was not sure how smooth the paint would go on without being too thick and runny. The smallest rollers at my local big box and paint supply stores were 3.5” fabric style. I reluctantly tried a set. They were a fail for me because they were too wide and I was unable to apply the paint smoothly. I reverted to using good quality brushes that took a bit longer to apply in the sun and humidity and ultimately became a sticky slog to get a coat on. I was not happy with my results. I subsequently searched Amazon and found 2” foam rollers and decided to try the inexpensive Mr. Rui Mini Foam Paint Roller Set based on a fair number of legit sounding reviews. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to easily prime the foam rollers and thereafter apply a smooth thin coat to the bars with minimal runs and drips. The price was a bargain relative to the quality of the product. The inclusion of a paint pan and a couple disposable liners was nice. My only recommendationł to the seller is to include an equal number of liners to the number of included rollers - and also make available the option to order additional rollers and liners when placing the order. Overall this is an excellent product. Note: Included photo is the primer coat. The finish coats are black.

Vine product review: I would buy this for a friend or relative. It was very easy to use and made the process of painting (which I despise) much easier and enjoyable for once. Definitely would buy this. Everything was easy to clean too and resuse...5 thumbs up!!!

This paint tray came with a two inch brush and a roller with 3 covers. It was a big help with my project. Glad I bought it.

Great little set - everything you need to paint cabinets. I love the disposable pans and rollers. It makes cleaning up after painting a breeze. This kit was a great value and I will be purchasing again.
