Yes. It is basically a stick of polypropylene hard plastic shaped to look and feel like a weapon. No sharp blades, no dangerous tips. It is 100% safe for even children.

It is heavy but my 12 year old son can handle it with no issues. It is heavier than you would expect a Halloween prop to be.. it is solid. I hope this helps.
