what is the difference in the sizes ? A-C?

They correspond to the size of your chair. To find out what size your chair is, do this: rotate your chair until you are viewing the back of the chair. Place your hand on the top of the back frame that is shaped like a handle. On the back side of the piece are raised dots indicating which size chair you have.
