Samsung Galaxy A42 5G, 128GB, Black - Unlocked (Renewed)

I appreciate the cost for the phone I picked out having such a great reputation and quality functions. Unfortunately, I had a problem with the phone and if I was in a different situation, not dealing with caregivers, nurses, doctors, PT"s making appointments constantly every week for my 93 year old mother's condition, I would not have been so upset. I wanted to pick out another phone, but I really liked the Galaxy J42 5G. Once the Amazon Representative, caught wind of that, Amazon convinced me to return the phone and have it replaced by the same seller. Amazon told me to think about giving the seller another chance to make it right. It is so important to have a way of communicating with mother's condition, I was not sure I could wait for the replacement phone delivery and what if I had a problem again. I agreed with Amazon and confirmed I would send back the phone immediately and wait for new phone. Amazon said to me that they would take 100% responsibility if the I had a problem with the phone. I saw that the new phone was ordered and shipped before they received the first phone. I am so glad I waited. I love the phone. And, when I went to plug in to charge, it showed 95% charged, which I smiled knowing before the phone was sent, someone made sure I would be happy. I put in my sim card and never had to set-up carrier information. It worked instantly and I have not had any problems and I am enjoying the connection, the speed of the phone, the touch of the phone. I bought this because the speaker went out in my Motorola phone. I had been wanting a Samsung but could not afford an new one. So got this refurbished I love it and haven't had any issues with it.

The phone works great. It was unlocked and my sim card worked with no problems. I was able to easily copy my data from my other samsung phone. The battery is slow charging, but the phone is fast. It's beautiful, tall, and comfortable in my hand. I purchased the by all three screen protection, phone case, and phone. The Screen protection was easy to install. I cleaned it with the alcohol pad, held it by the sides, carefully aligned the top under the camera and let it drop. I used the cloth it came with to slowly swipe from side to side starting at the top, then swiped down the sides. There is no bubbles and it works great to the touch screen. I give my phone 5 stars. I love the 128 gig storage. I'm very happy with my phone. 🥰

it got stuck on talk back and then droping it with the case and screen protector and having it locked because of the screen i give up its not worth it my whole idea to get a new device only happened because of my brother being nice enough to help me with the money its so embarrasing hopfully we can work it out please amazon help me out?

This is now the *SECOND* phone that I have received from this company claining to be unlocked, but it is actually locked to Verizon. The first one at Christmas time I did not even realize it was locked because it was a gift and the person who I gave it to actually wanted and opened a verizon account and never mentioned it to me at all. I ordered another for my granddaughter who was heartbroken when her phone was broken about five days ago. She's ON a plan - and its Metro by TMobile (I know because I pay the bill for it). So now this phone arrives and she's all excited - right up until the Verizon logo screen pops up. So I called my friend about the phone at Christmas time, and he said that it had been locked to Verizon which had made it easy for him to just use them. Not happy at all, as I need to order her yet ANOTHER phone, and hope that another vendor actually means it when they say it is unlocked..... It's 2026 and we go thru some of the stupidest electronic issues that make no sense at all.

Bought this for my son who lives to play games. He is loving it. Graphics are cool, no lagging in the high tech games and the battery really does last long as advertised. It did not come in a package and there was no charger with it. I did not like the lack of packaging but i am fine with no charger considering the price and the fact that it is not brand new. So far it is operating well and that is my main concern.

I’m really happy with this Samsung device. The screen is bright and clear, the battery lasts all day, and the performance is smooth for everyday tasks like social media, calls, and videos. The camera takes good photos with nice colors, especially in daylight.The design also looks modern and stylish. For the price, it’s definitely a solid and reliable phone. Highly recommended!
