Cuisinart CSG-100 Surface Thermometer

I was looking for something that would display the temperature of my various stainless steel, cast iron and carbon steel (frying) pans and this does a great job. When you want a good char on steaks or something as simple as frying eggs in a stainless frying pan this gets you there. And you just use a fork to hook it out to let it cool.

Für Freunde der Enkaustik: Bevor das Thermometer (USA) in die Gänge kam, war das Wachs schon zu heiß geworden. Ich hatte das Thermometer auf eine Elektropfanne (kleinste Stufe) gesetzt um Enkaustik-Wachs zu schmelzen.Ansonsten bestimmt ein brauchbares Thermometer.
