GREAT VALUE FOR THE MONEY!! But then again, it’s a Vortex! This is a 4moa red/green dot optic that can easily be changed for brightness and color! I’m older, my kids mention that way too often now, and given my astigmatism, I prefer the green dot setting but many prefer the red so it’s great to have the option! Sometimes I switch back and forth just to see if I’m actually getting younger? Benjamin Button’s got nothing on me! 😂 Best part is u can adjust the colored dot brightness way down for long range, 100yard+ shooting, the dot is more like a 2moa dot or less, in this setting! Cranker up for close range and you’ve got the best of all worlds! Also night-vision compatible for you “snoopers.” Very accurate optic with 1” groups at 100 yards zero even with my feeble eyes and shelf ammo! Paired this with the UTG Super Slim Flip up front and rear sights, and the Vortex Strikefire II with the cantelever mount can be adjusted on the rail for a lower 1/3 co-witness view with the UTG sights! Obviously your results may differ pending your line of sight on your favorite Gal! Running on a 5.56/.223 Pistol with a 7.5” barrel! She’s tight!! Super easy to install and super easy to sight in, use the smallest dot size setting when sighting in, and remember to shoot with both eyes open! Once you get used to this “both eyes open” style, Target acquisition is super fast and easy even for us old guys! Just remember, OLD GUYS RULE! 😜 Excellent combo and you might want to try the 36/300 yard zero with the 25yard adjusted zero targets for the 5.5" center mass strike zone out to 300 yards. Very impressive and might just become your favorite zeroed yardage? Most shooting ranges accommodate the 25, 50, 75, and 100 yard pins so the 25 yard adjusted zero targets gives you the 25 yard point of aim zero and a 36 yard point of impact zero so you can easily adjust for a 36yard point of impact zero when shooting at the 25 yard pin distance. Worth every dollar! Solid unit, bright red dot & green dot. I ran almost 300 rounds today with this and it did not move at all or loosen and it did not even have to adjust the settings to zero it in. I was on target every time and did not have to make any adjustments. I will keep buying these and going with this company for sure.

I picked up the Vortex Strikefire II as a present for my son, and it was an instant hit. I bought this to install on a 22 rifle that I purchased. Haven’t installed it yet, but I just held it in my hand and turned it on and I love the looks of it. One star off for the unusual battery that it uses. I’ve had great luck with vortex optics, and I don’t think this will be any different. Reasonably priced and good quality.

Reliable, Clear, and Built Like a Tank! The Vortex Strikefire II is an awesome red dot sight for the price. It’s super easy to mount, sight in, and use. The glass is crystal clear, and the red/green dot options are bright enough for both indoor and outdoor shooting — even in full sunlight. It feels tough and durable, just like you’d expect from Vortex. The controls are simple and responsive, and the battery life is great. I’ve used it on both an AR and a shotgun, and it’s held zero perfectly every time, even after plenty of recoil. Vortex really nailed the balance between performance and value here. Plus, their lifetime warranty gives extra peace of mind. Highly recommend this optic for anyone looking for reliability without spending a fortune.

Really nice quality. It was easy to install. Sighting it has been my only issue and that’s just a user error thing, not the fault of the item!

One of the most disgusting things I see is people attaching $25 dollar air soft optics to their brand new AR platform rifle. Not even air softers use those cheap $25 optics. Don’t skimp and get this optic. If you know anything about optics you know this is pretty affordable compared to different brands, and technologies. For a red dot, at this price you cant beat it. Plain and simple. You don’t need a $700 eotech on your civilian rifle that you just take out the range here and there but for the money this a great optic. Glass is clear and it holds a zero like any other. Dot brightness is adjustable and can be clearly seen in even a blazing hot, bright sunny day. Product is weighty but not too heavy and it looks sexy on any rifle. Only thing I’d improve are the brightness up and down buttons as they aren’t very tactile. Depending on the angle you press them out you may feel a click to them but for the most part they’re very mushy and require using them enough to learn when you’re actually engaging the button and when you’re not but at this price range I’m really just nitpicking. Seriously this is a great optic. Works flawlessly, instead of buying an ACOG battle optic that costs more than your rifle save some money with this and buy other components to your rifle, a brake, stock, sling, bolt. Whatever! This optic wont disappoint and you’ll save decent money in the long run.
