ERP IG21 Oven Igniter

WORKS GREAT

This item was fairly priced and pretty easy to install. If you have a gas stove that is not heating properly because the oven igniter is not working, it's not too difficult to replace the igniter yourself with a new one. This one worked perfectly for me. I installed it and my oven works again. Make certain to buy an igniter that is meant to be used for the make and model of stove you have. I especially appreciated that this product had the wire terminal clips that matched my oven wiring. Note: If you have more time than money, this is one home repair that you may be able to do on your own. Take your time watching DIY oven repair videos on YouTube or reading relevant articles in home repair manuals (are books still around?), understand the installation process well enough to explain it to a 4th grader, take care to heed safety warnings, gather the minimal tools needed and install the igniter. If in doubt about being able to install the igniter safely, have it done by a professional.

Easy fix and shipping was on time

This igniter glowed bright and worked as it should and described BUT for less than one year. I reinstalled the original, which was over 15 years used, so you tell me what's up with less than a year of use from this new one? How often is an oven used folks. I do not recommend this brand. I will contact seller/maker if possible and if they wish to make this good then I will amend this post. Amendment: I found the installation records and I did buy this igniter 12/22 BUT I did not install it until 08/23 because the old one was still working. I bought this replacement because the old one was not glowing as brightly. But I found free time and replaced it anyway. I now have ordered an OEM glowplug elsewhere because this seller has not contacted me about the worthless igniter sold by them. The original glow plug is back installed and working ok until the replacement arrives or it burns out. Any questions and I will answer?

Igniter was exactly as pictured. Slightly different from the original part, but I knew this before I bought it. Removed broken igniter and installed this one. It has been working fine.
