JIS works great on my specific application.

I bought this to keep in the dash pocket of my Honda GL1800 Goldwing. Anyone who knows anything about working on Japanese motorcycles knows that they do not use Phillips head screws and using a phillips head screwdriver risks rounding out the heads. Using a proper JIS screwdriver like this one will keep from rounding out the screw heads. And it really came in handy when loosening up the 2 screws for the + and - for the aux connection inside the fuse box. Many have complained about being able to loosen those screws and damaging them when trying. This screwdriver fit the screws tightly and yes, those screws are very tight. But with this screwdriver, I was able to get them loose without any damage to the heads.

I should have bought this Vessel screwdriver years ago . It grips regular Phillips and the JIS type fasteners perfectly.

Bought this for the specific job of removing the secondary throttle plate on a 2026 KLX 300. Well made, and much more secure than using a standard comparable phillips head driver.

These JP tip screwdrivers really make a difference when working with Japanese screws (Hondas). They fit in and stay in so much better than Phillips head screwdrivers-it's noticeable. Should have bought this one and the longer one previously bought years ago. These are high quality screwdrivers.

This is the real thing if you need a small Japanese style Phillips. Always had problems unscrewing fasteners in my Toyota with standard Phillips drivers. They would cam out and slip. This JIS driver fits the fasteners like a glove. I can actually plug the screw onto the bit of the driver and it will stay on. Great for reaching areas where you can't place the screw beforehand. Never slips. Do your self a favour and get this for Japanese fasteners.

Great stubby. Performance wise, despite the same assembly as the non-stubby version. Magnetic strength isnt as great and the jaw tip isnt as prominent, doesnt bite like the normal version. Still works great as a stubby though
