Logitech G USB PRO Flight Rudder Pedals

A phenomenal unit to have. Rudder pedals are a cornerstone in any flight simulator setup, yet I went two years without them. Finally, I picked up a simulator realistic enough that it was time to get a set of pedals for navigating through airports. This set works wonders. I can't imagine flying without them now, and I can truly say now and agree that all flight sim setups should at least have pedals like these. The least you need is a yoke of some sort, some independent throttle controls, and rudder pedals. These happen to work flawlessly with my Saitek Pro Flight yoke and throttle quadrant, so I'm a happy customer. The only other thing I'd really like after this is a trim wheel. Currently, I use the blue lever on my throttle quadrant for trim. I highly recommend these! My only suggestion to buyers is to place these on something where it won't slide easily - it'll make flying easier. It comes with velcro strips to help with that, so plan accordingly. You can add as many velcro strips as you'd like if you go to a crafts store. I tried using the velcro with older carpet and it didn't work, but I plan to fasten the velcro system to some plywood next. My other suggestion is to buy a cheap pair of clean shoes meant just for these pedals ($7 at Walmart on clearance for shoes). The reason is that, if you're training with these, well, you'll never be flying in socks in the real world! It's good to train in shoes like the real thing. My only (joke) complaint is that I'm a 6-foot tall giant man with size 14 feet, so my toes stick way off the end of the pedals, but I'm kind of used to that now - that's how it is when I drive my car too. Overall, 5-stars. Love these pedals!

I call this a safe buy. It works perfectly with X-Plane & Windows 10. Just calibrate in X-Plane, remove the yaw axis from your joystick settings, and you're set. I don't see what the complaints are about it not being durable enough. Yeah, you can probably bust it up by stomping around on it, but stomping on the pedals hasn't been necessary on the real aircraft I fly (pushing hard on the right rudder pedal on the real ones, yes, but not stomping). If you've got to be really forceful on the pedals, I'd say spend some serious cash for the RedBird simulator stuff or something.

After more than 25 years of flight simming I finally added rudder pedals and what a difference it makes. I am stunned by the accurate control of these pedals. First of all I am using P3D on Win 10 only so no combat or space games. As such I don't need to apply massive control changes. The pedals are made of a very sturdy plastic and seem very solid. I have them positioned up against a wall so movement is limited. If you are setting up away from a wall and in the middle of a room I can see where you would need some additional stability. It comes with Velcro straps but I don't need them. Installation was a breeze. I did NOT download the Logitech drivers. I simply plugged into a free USB port and Windows10 recognized it immediately. After calibrating in Windows, I opened up P3D and the device appeared in Controls. I had previously viewed a YouTube video on how to configure, but the Axis assignments were already there! A minute later I was rolling down a taxiway controlled by these pedals. I would say from unpacking to actually flying an airplane was less than 1 hour. Based on this cursory initial impression I'm very pleased with these mid range flight controls.

This is my second set of these rudder pedals. The first lasted a few years then I felt something pop. I opened it up and found that the return spring for the braking action is connected to a plastic hook and the plastic failed. Couldn’t be repaired. I am surprised that there is so much plastic in the works. If some of the parts that take mechanical wear over time were metal the pedals would last longer. Especially for the price. That being said... there are heavy duty metal rudder pedals out there - for $500.00+. I put together a frame with PVC to hold the pedals, a joystick and a throttle quadrant as a unit. That is as close to a “ cockpit” I am willing to go. I don’t want to fly sims without rudder pedals (I was a private pilot before the cancer chewed my body up). These pedals work well but are not what I would consider a “work horse” construction. Expect to replace them every few years if not sooner depending on use. When/if these fail I will save my pennies and go for expensive metal pedals. Mind, I have always treated equipment gently. $170.00 bucks is a tough pill to swallow for creaky plastic pedals. These are a hair above “toy-like” construction. If you have $500.00+ to spend and fly flight sims “a lot” - pop for something better than these pedals. The best I can say is that they work. If these pedals fail in the next year I will amend my review with something a bit more scathing.

Great rudder pedals for the money. I’ve been researching rudder pedals to use with X Plane 11 and decided on this. They work great!! Definitely a huge improvement over using the twisting motion on my joystick. There is a tension knob in the middle to add more resistance to the pedals. Honestly, I have the knob turned all the way loose and it feels fine. A tad stiff but it works really good. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a great rudder pedal but doesn’t want to spend 2 or 3 times the price for one of the “high end” pedals.

It's made of plastic and metal. I see lots of reviews about it breaking. It works as expected for me. I don't slam on the break pedals and don't kick it (move it when not using it as it's not a footrest). I can't speak as to why the other units broke but assume people overestimate the amount of pressure they need to apply and underestimate the strength in their legs and feet. Also, make sure your chair doesn't roll as trying to overcompensate for it wheeling around can put strain on the pedels. It works as expected and is a great addition to MS flight 2020.

I've had a Saitek stick going back to the X45. 19 years later decided to give rudders a go. They work pretty good and I say pick up a set if the other options are too expensive. There are some issues though. They wont stick to anything. These are a bolt down or butt up against something deal. I've got a Next level rig they will go on after I rebuild my desk area. Not a big deal. SOUND on the other hand. They are loud and I mean LOUD. You get a very loud and cheap sounding clack hitting the centering mechanism with normal use then all out double bangs has your start evading. Immersion goes right out the window. Your not going to be flying long before someone in your house comes in to find out what your banging over and over. It sounds cheap which doesn't help. Look up detent mod and kiss that warranty goodbye to fix the issue. For the price they are hard to beat. If you live alone and use headphones your good to go but everyone in your house will know when you are flying. I use sennheiser hd 700s and can hear the pedals because they are open stage. For now I can't use them when everyone is home but they work perfectly otherwise. Did I mention these are really loud? I can't find a good angle that lets me use the rudder without pushing the brakes making me think the rudders are pushed in further than they are. The engagement point is so far back on my heels I feel a bit of strain in the top of my foot a toes. I have big feet so all my toes hang off or curl around the top while flying with the pedals fully extended. I guess shoes might help but I'm not tossing my shoes on every time I want to fly. Honestly I could care less about the brakes so I plan to stop them from moving at all so I can use my whole food in a more comfortable way to push the rudder around. Hard to beat for the price though. I hope Logitech redesigns the X series sticks and rudders in the future. Not much has changed since they bought Saitek. So far changes seem more ascetic than functional upgrades. Keep in mind these are the first set of pedals I have owned so I can only compare them to what I have read in sim sites.

Eu simulo/jogo Il-2, DCS World e o Flight Simulator desde a versão 2002, curto asas fixas e rotativas, tenho preferência em aeronaves da aviação geral, e se você tem as mesmas preferências que eu, te garanto que possuir pedais aumenta muito a qualidade da sua simulação principalmente pra voos de asas rotativas. Eu tinha os pedais da Thrustmaster e mesmo fazendo o mod com impressora 3d pra deixar os pedais mais afastados do centro, não ficou bom e em questão de tempo os potenciômetros começaram a falhar, e quando finalmente abandonei os pedais da Thrustmaster e comprei esse da Logitech eu senti uma diferença enorme na qualidade do produto, embora ele seja um pouco duro é só questão de se acostumar, então posso afirmar que vale cada centavo o investimento nesses pedais.

Works well as expected. The tension can be adjusted. They do need to be attached to the floor or to a flat sheet of plywood otherwise they move when the pedals are pushed
