Nine Stars Motion Sensor Trash Can Combo

Its fine, the cans themselves are great. But the sensor is glitchy, only opens half way sometimes, doesn't close all the way either. Batteries were fully charged just not really worth the price for a sensor and lid that don't work as advertised. I woukd like to throw it out completely, but I'm not ready to spend more with no guarantee the next one will be any betterUpdate* I contacted customer support at NINESTARS and they are shipping me a new lid, theres a 2 year warranty so I give 5 stars for the customer support experience and would recommend making the purchase.

I really liked and helped me a lot in my kitchen

This product works as advertised. I gave it 5 stars because I’m able to turn the activation mode on or off. This is helpful when you have a lot of people and animal traffic walking past it. Otherwise, it is sensitive and the waste can lid opens and closed more than you would want! The shape and size of the trash can are the average kitchen size. The can fits well under my kitchen counter so it can be out of the way. The sides of the can aren’t very thick, allowing it to be light weight, but it can be dented easily, it is durable providing you care for it.I like the fact that it came with a second smaller can for the bathroom. The lid keeps the bathroom waste discreet, opens easily without touching it, great for sanitation purposes!

I bought this item to replace a kitchen trash bucket I have had for 20 years. The only reason I was replacing it was our city requires trash to be in city-mandated bags, and they keep getting smaller. Those bags no longer fit my bucket, so I needed a new one. I also wanted a receptacle that was easier to clean and does not stain. My old one was of heavy duty plastic, and tomato sauce left an ugly stain so it does not look clean. So far, this automatic one, which runs off batteries so does not need a nearby outlet, works fantastic. I do love the hands-off feature. You do have to shut off the auto feature in order to change out the bags, and there is a small learning curve for installing the bags if you do not want them to show. Other than that, I highly recommend.
