Good product. Easy to install or replace an existing mechanism on your clock. The chime is definitely electronic and sounds that way. I was able to use the chime on my existing clock luckily able to connect it and replace the chime that I got with this. Overall I'm happy with the product I wish there were options for a better chime with volume adjustment. But the price was great and I was able to make it work for me. I'm happy with purchase.

Took a little tweaking on my part to get everything right.. Keeps good time and the chime is right on point.. Not as loud as the original chime but wasn't a priority.. This was a cheap repair considering the cost of replacing a the whole clock.

Great temporary solution for a fine old clock which would have cost hundreds to repair fully. Installation instructions somewhat confusing and still cannot get the clock to chime exactly on the hour despite resinstalling per instructions multiple times. Pendulum provided was too short but managed to modify with additional lightweight parts (the original penulum could not be used as it would be far too heavy and thus interfere with overall operation). Quiet low key chime is fine for our purposes but some might prefer a louder more vibrant tone. Had to fashion a wooden "donut" to support this new much smaller mechanism in the wooden clock case which was designed for mechanical brass clockworks. Keeps accurate time so far.

Well, you get what you pay for. I have a wall clock that came with a Hermle movement that finally died. I love the clock and found that the Hermle movement in it has been discontinued. I tried another with similar, but different measurements that didn't fit at all. So I ordered this one. In it's defense, it works and only requires a same size hole in the dial to fit (that's how it mounts), and it seems to keep time OK. BUT, 1. It feels really cheap. 2. I had to do a bit of creative trimming on the hands to make them fit (they're pretty cheap feeling, too, and thin enough to cut with scissors). 3. The worst thing is the chimes. The "Westminster" chimes only sound on the hour. The sound quality of the chimes is AWFUL! Tinny and poor quality. But we do have our beloved clock back in operation and I'll keep this until I find a better solution - maybe have to rebuild the insides to fit the Hermle movement or something.....

I had a issue with the chime function (the clock worked properly) The seller has been helpful and has promised to send a replacement chime.

目当てはチャイムですが、期待外れでした。 完全な電子音で、毎時これを聴くのは耐えられないので、外しました。 狭い部屋なので音量もかなり大きく感じました。 使い始めて1週間、まだ全然狂うこともなく、時計として正確性が高くて良いものではないかと思います。 取り付けの時、特に秒針が曲がりやすいので、そこだけ気をつけましたが、簡単に設置できました。 針をつける部品の径が製品によって違う場合があるようですので、よく調べてから購入するといいと思います。

とりあえず、20年前の壁掛け時計が生き返りました！

安価な製品でも メロディー、時報数も正確、時刻誤差無でいい製品です。一つ難を言えば、電池ボックスの部分が少し軟弱かな。
