Great tool
The tool itself is fabulous. The packaging was sub par and I was actually worried that the tool had been broken.

Easy corder
Love this gadget. Used it with 6 strands of embroidery floss and made great looking cording for my sachets. Product is easy to use and the results are better than I had expected. If you use cording for sewing projects this is both a time saver and a money saver. So happy I found this item.

A clever and ingenious little gadget
It's such an ingenious little gadget! I've been making cords with it since i received it a few days ago. It works great! I've been experimenting with different ways to use it because I'm using it alone. As i've been trying different techniques for bringing the twisted threads together, I've found that you really do have to keep the whole thing taut before letting it spin to create its final cord. I've been mixing different colors of yarn, thread, fabric, etc., to make all different kinds of cords. It's really fun! You could get the same effect by using a drill or twisting by hand, but this product is so affordable, it's worth it! And it's a U.S. company, and I'm all about supporting the little guys with their smart inventions.

Great device for arthritic hands!
I have debated on buying this for a while but I don't have to do cording that often when I cross stitch so was a bit put off by the price; however, I have recently been diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis and doing cording has become difficult so I ordered this. I was making ornaments which required a lot of cording and this saved me a lot of time and made the cording so much easier. It took a few times to find the best way to make it work for me but I did find that by using a clamp to hold the end of the thread instead of a person or just a piece of tape that this worked excellently and my cording was very even and it is so much quicker than doing it by hand.

Wish it were a little heavier...
I like the custom corder, but it is hard to use by yourself and extremely easy to use if you have someone else to hold onto the other end of your strings. I couch a lot of cords to the cuffs of pillowcases and I love the effect that this tool provides. The texture of the result is awesome. I mostly use crochet thread or Perl cotton #3, #5, or #8. I’ve used thumb tacks, map push pins, and even my clamp and birdie to hold the other end and I’ve had limited success with all of these. But when my wife is available to hold the other end, success is assured on the first try. It’s lightweight, but sturdy. The hand crank is easy to turn and turns smoothly. The hardest part is getting the corder to drop into the middle of your length when you are ready to join the ends together. If the corder were heavier, I think it would slide more reliably to the middle of your length and a good result would be easier to achieve. It takes a couple of tries to get the hang of it, but I think it’s worth the price I paid. I get quite a bit of use out of it and have had success with different weights and types of thread. It’s fun to combine colors of equal weight thread, but I’ve also achieved great results when one color was heavier than the other. The more colors you use, the thicker the result. Varying on weight lends a different texture which is fascinating and beautiful. I really enjoy this corder.

Wonderful tool
This is a bit confusing to use but after a few attempts, and some YouTube videos, it is great! Appreciate being able to mix and match whatever colors I want and saving money by making my own cording.
